Ok Brian, you’ve convinced me to check out this series. I’m a huge Dune fan. Nothing since, has compared to Frank Herberts masterpiece.

Yeah, it was fantastic. It has so much good in it. Some of the best worldbuilding mixed with beautiful writing and character work. I read the last quarter in one evening. I just couldn't put it down

I read the first book, found it really derivative and predictable. based on this review I went back and finished the 2nd book and am not convinced to read the rest of the series. It's a really good first science fantasy series.
