Great video, very helpful for us who have been recently injured and are doing our due diligence in research. Full thickness super, partial infra, posterior superior labrum tear...I see the Dr 1/15, very good experienced w/ 3 specialty fellowships in shoulder. In surgery 4 days a week. Very blessed with him, looking forward to going in there w/ as much information, questions and answers as possible to assist...I've also been in therapy for 2 months, strengthening the area and keeping good ROM to help in my full recovery. MRI showed no atrophy...
Hi, I have some tear too. My doctor said X ray is only see bone. Can't see tendon or muscle. Insurance only pays MRI after you have x ray first. I had x-ray first, two months later, pain got worse. Then doctor order MRI and found a tear.
saw by GP. we did the tests I did well some pain. She felt I needed Physio but had me get xrays and ultra sound. she said I have 2 full Rotary cuff tears Sub and Supra and long head full bicep tear. She referred me to the Orthopedic surgeon. He requires me to get a MRI before he sees me. Do you know why this might be? could the xray and ultrasound be not conclusive?
Chad, although you discussed the surgical approach (if you’re a hammer, everything is a nail) you certainly didn’t cover non-surgical options, ie PRP, PT, etc. Beautifully done
Thank you for advice ivr had pain since 2009 and if i move it slow it gets stuck if i move arm fast hurts after im dping moving it. Ivr had pyhysical therapy 2x ocupation therapy 1x several steroid injections and surgery but no luck
Can it cause pain in the neck? My boyfriend has to have this done but wow he's gonna be out of work for freaking 6 months? Hasn't medicine advanced more since the 2000s?
