  • In what was a very emotional purchase right before the new year, I picked up two Sterling Ink B6 5 Year Diaries in Mist & Caramel with gold edging. In this video I''ll review the diary and talk about how I'll be using them. I am not affiliated with Sterling Ink and all my opinions of this product are my own.

Such a great idea! I’m child free but would have loved for something like this about my childhood. Some ideas for what to ask them are: favorite outfit/ shirt/ shoes, fav tv show, fav book, fav subject, current hobbies, fav recess game, fav food, fav item/ toy.

Thanks so much for the affirmation and your ideas! I actually love favorite recess game. That question is so relevant for the stage of life they’ve in!

Beautiful idea, would love to have been gifted something like this as a memory of my childhood.

Sujey!!!!! Thank you sooooo much for this!! I was so scared to start this and not finish but the intention and the ideas you shared have sealed my decision! I just got the covers and now I am headed to get the diaries because WOW!!!! I am so excited.
My kids are 13 and 19 but I still get to capture my daughter’s high school experience and my son’s last two years in college into young adulthood.
As I shared with you I have memory journals now that we recently looked through and it was so rewarding but some things were personal to me and my ups and downs which I don’t necessarily want them to read later in life so this is definitely an exciting alternative for me. 🎉

Committing is super scary I don’t blame you for being hesitant. I’m so glad this was inspiring you to start! Those ages are very transitional - like it’s a new chapter! What a perfect time to start.

Hi Sujey, what a lovely gift for your children. I can't tell you how much I wish I had had these when my babies were growing up! Gifts to be cherished for sure. 💜💜
Thank you for reviewing the 5-Year Diary so thoroughly. I've been on the fence about getting into a 5-Year Diary. I'm in the process of moving from Hobonichi Cousin to Sterling Ink so I'll definitely be giving the 5-Year Diary a shot.😊

@@roxiesossa3210 thanks so much for the encouragement! Thinking about the day I gift it to them makes me accountable to keeping up. The five year is on sale right now!

I keep a 5 year A6 journal for my kids too, but I'm using the Hobonichi one. Just one for all 4 kids. I wouldn't be able to keep up with 4 journals...Nice flip.

Love the review of this 5 year planner. I think I’ll go ahead and get one. So should I get 4 since i have 4 kids under 10 (3 are under 4) LOL!. (Seriously I’ll only get 1. Haha!)

😂 I think one is a good call! Maybe in the bigger size A5. Until then start writing an entry in a notebook somewhere so you can backlog!

Maybe you could get an a5 as it’s larger and divide it into four columns and have each part for one kid
