In the 4th book Hagrad actually teaches a lesson on them, the children each get to take one and let it loose in the pumpkin patch to find Leprechaun gold that Hagrad has buried. That’s when Ron finds out that the gold he paid Harry back for the Omnioculars at the World Cup disappeared.

So I recently went to Universal Studios Orlando / IOA and OBVIOUSLY went on Gringotts. While we were waiting in line in the first grand bank teller room with the chandeliers and goblins... I didn’t know you could interact with the goblins!!! I asked one of them “hey! Can you look at me”? And it literally looked up from its paperwork and creepily turned its head directly at me!! I tried it with multiple goblins and it worked every time!!! So crazy!!!
I'm an Aussie and when I went to the States a few years back I visited Universal Studios in Orlando...whilst I was waiting in a cue for something in Hogsmeade I spotted a squirrel run across the snow caped roof of one of the buildings and I thought that was so perfect...we don't have squirrels in Oz so it was pleasant to have that memory of my visit...probably nothing to you guys, but lovely for us Aussies...also, being in Hogsmeade at dusk is divine...
I have a family of fox squirrels (dark brown) in my trees and it is not lost on me how fun and beautiful they are! Glad you got to see one along your travels 😊

Followed Molly's advice and got everything done by 2 pm :) We had plenty of time to explore the rest of Universal and Islands. Thanks for helping us get through ALL of the Harry Potter attractions!
I never saw the HP movies until I became a Universal passholder. After I rode Hagrid’s I thought it was so awesome I bingewatched the entire series and now I’m a fan 😀
Love this! I’m planning a one-day trip to Universal/IOA for our first time and was concerned about being able to do much of HP, but it looks like we can, even though we will not be able to do much of the other stuff in the parks.
Yes lol just got back. Got in after 5pm and was done with the entire park by 10. NO LINES. Got on forbidden journey back to back. Insane. Hagrids was the only difficult thing
Absolutely love the wizarding world videos! Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the Disney parks and enjoy those videos so much. However Harry Potter is my true nerd thing so these videos make me endlessly happy !! I know that when I finally get to go to the Wizarding world of Harry Potter I will definitely cry.
You'll feel that way when you enter Honeydukes and actually see all the incredible confections seen in the movie. Ditto for shopping in the souvenir shop after exiting Ollivander's Wand shop: lots of great stuff there. You'll find Hogwarts House robes hanging from a clothes rack and wands galore in long boxes stacked on shelves that reach to the ceiling.

I just went with my daughter for her 29th birthday! We are both big Potter fans! I got her a birthday pin from guest services and we went to the wand choosing and they chose her! I was sooo happy I cried lol! Hope you enjoy your trip and happy birthday! ❤️

I was in Universal last week. I tried that exact combination of icecream. It was amazing. I was surprised I liked the sticky toffee pudding better than the strawberry peanut butter.
Molly's a Slytherin! Ugh! She's too nice and too pretty for that House. She's better as a Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Gryffindor than somebody from that horrid House. Heck, I would enjoy being in Ravenclaw because of all those pretty students there who have to answer interesting questions to enter their dormitories instead of remembering silly passwords.

I own Hermione's wand and the Lumos light-up wand. I think Narcissa redeemed herself as a nicer lady than I thought towards the end of Deathly Hallows Part 2, especially if she was willing to get close and personal to Harry lying on the forest floor and ask him whether Draco was still alive.

Hagrids is the best ride in Orlando right now. Better than any ride at Disney IMO, atleast until Tron and Guardians come out. But also, Velocicoaster might dethrone Hagrids too.

Hagrid's is the best ride in Universal. Tip Just keep checking back on the app. Slots open up randomly. We have gotten on that where it said sold out or whatever it says and my daughter kept checking, bam within a half hour we had a spot. It is a luck thing but just have someone keep checking back. ..

I own Hermione's wand and the Lumos light-up wand. I think Narcissa redeemed herself as a nicer lady than I thought towards the end of Deathly Hallows Part 2, especially if she was willing to get close and personal to Harry lying on the forest floor and ask him whether Draco was still alive.

Hagrids is the best ride in Orlando right now. Better than any ride at Disney IMO, atleast until Tron and Guardians come out. But also, Velocicoaster might dethrone Hagrids too.

Hagrid's is the best ride in Universal. Tip Just keep checking back on the app. Slots open up randomly. We have gotten on that where it said sold out or whatever it says and my daughter kept checking, bam within a half hour we had a spot. It is a luck thing but just have someone keep checking back. ..
Can you guys make a video going to both Parks in one day? (Not just Harry Potter world) And just how to get to all the big rides? Going to do this in a couple of weeks so all the tips and tricks would be awesome!
