Features:
-Upload and execute a Playstation 1 executable.
-Upload data to an address of the Playstation 1 ram.
-Download data from an address of the Playstation 1 memory (bios dump, etc...)
-Download the Video RAM from the Playstation 1 and export as a PNG image.
-Redirect the "printf" text of your Playstation program to your computer for easy debugging.
-Use the provided libsn_usb library to download/upload files from/to your computer acting as a file server.
-Debugging screen with registers and stack dump whenever your program crash.
-The cartridge will be able to get updated by executing an update program (via USB or CD)

I'm a little afraid of negative comments regarding my code, but I imagine that this could benefit the improvement of the tool.
@@OrionSoft Don't worry about people being critical of code, if negative then who are they to complain if they haven't even attempted to make something like this? If positive criticism then everybody benefits. :)

Please tell where can i get this cart from ? And how much would one cost me ?
I got some questions about this cart would this cart be compatible with the ps1 sdk kit and would there be any updates with the firmware or software/ code that needs to make the cart work ? Will the cart be improved in the future ? Plus would the code for the cart to work be open source ? So people can help improve it ?

Would you be able to use this on a PlayStation that has the xStation mod?
yes, I have a xstation and it doesn't interfere with it, you just need to desactivate the cartridge with the built-in switch so that it will boot on the xstation, but any program started from the xstation will be able to use the USB hardware even with the cartridge deactivated

a 9:48 "le seul truc qu'on a pas c'est la musique car c'est chargé en USB" je ne comprend pas pourquoi tu n'as pas la musique vu qu'au début à 2:30 tu charges une démo qui contient des graphisme de la video et de l'audio musique me semble t'il . est ce que ce sont des samples lut par la puce synthé ou un musique compressé décompressé ? est ce qu'on peut émuler le fonctionnement du CD en automatisant le loading de mêmoire de chaque niveau se trouvant sur le pc et chargé dynamiquement ? je développe quelque chose sur dreamcast mais ton système à l'air très intéressant pour la psx.
Juste pour clarifier, c'est une cartouche de développement, ce n'est pas un émulateur de CD pour pirater des jeux. Je ne suis pas expert mais d'après ce que j'ai compris, la lecture de pistes audio du CD ne peut pas ce faire autrement que par le lecteur CD (c'est pour ça que même la cartouche PSIO nécessite de souder une switch board), la première démo que je charge joue de la musique via un lecteur de fichier MOD qui utilise la puce sonore de la ps1 avec des samples chargé en mémoire son.
@@OrionSoft je posais cette question avant tout pour voir si on pouvait simuler le comportement d'un jeu final avec des chargements de niveau à la volée absolument pas dans l'optique du piratage de jeux. mais merci de confirmer de ce que j'avais cru comprendre.
@@mrlyoy je fournirais un exemple de code pour charger les données soit via USB soit via le CD avec juste un define a changer pour passer de l'un à l'autre

When you started programming your games for ps1 years ago, did you use something similar or did you use an emulator?
Well done.
I used an equivalent which was a Xplorer FX cartridge with a parallel port, now my new PC doesn't have a parallel port anymore so I'm making it USB :) Always test on real hardware, emulators are not as accurate as real hardware, I had stuff working on real hardware and not on emulators and vice versa.

I don't have time (nor the knowledge) to make a game unfortunately.

@@shaundeeley212 Can you see the subtitles button?. Sometimes I don't see the button to show/hide subtitles if I zoom the youtube page too much.
