If I hadn't been illegally kicked out of my beautiful home for being unvaxxed, I was paying $2200 (a steal!) for a three bedroom, two story + finished basement with a full bar, and laundry room, fenced in back yard, hardwood floors, vaulted cielings, greenhouse, hot tub in the greenhouse, 2 car garage, ..... and now am paying alost $2000 for 100 square feet that includes a bathroom bareley big enough to fit inside of, and a two eye burner. Seeing what has become of Denver is sad. Growing up there in the 1970's and 1980's was a delight. But an incident that happened to me in 2019 forced me to say goodbye. I was on my way home from work when a homeless person on the 16th St. Mall asked me for some money. I politely told him I didn't have any. He became very angry and slashed my arm with his pocketknife. I moved to Phoenix primarily because it's not that far away (14 hour drive). I drove up to Denver this past August and the homeless problem has gotten worse. Phoenix has a bad homeless problem too but the city will not let the homeless set up tents in front of your house like I saw in many parts of Denver. Homelessness is a complex problem with different causes but the politicians in Denver have added fuel to the fire.

Homelessness is not as big problem in conservative cities, but there is an explanation for it. The main reason for homelessness is fentanyl, and other drugs addiction believe it or not. If you do not believe me, you can find Michael Shellenberger's interviews here on UA-cam. Liberal cities have laws that attract homeless because addicts can support their addiction there more easily. The main one is you are allowed to steal from stores for up to $950 in Cali, and no one will bother you, police will not even come even if they had an officer available. In my town the law says you can steal up to $500 worth of items, and that nothing, so there are no as many homeless like in Cali but we have almost as good camping weather as southern Cali. I go to Texas, and they do not have such law that you can just steal from stores as you wish, so their addicts migrates to the west coast where they can simply support their addiction. Stealing from stores, they call it boosting.

So St. Louis, Buckhorn, Fish Pond, and Austin have lots of vacant land a 30 minute bus ride from the city. You know, people really don't have much choice when they're homeless. Rent has doubled in the last 10 years here and wages have increased by 5%. Your videos are are shallow and condescending towards many who struggle through a rough time in their lives. The working poor also have nowhere to live, and they have a hard time keeping their jobs because of that. We need more affordable housing in this market, but that's impossible with the wealthy buying up all the properties and raising the rents. And just remember, Alabama collects more Federal tax money than they pay in, so my taxes help pay for your state's welfare.

me and my wife came to Denver with a(( friend)) was supposed to get a place he take the money left us stranded I got there two days after this video was filmed I was homeless the entire month of May because I couldn't get resources to get to somewhere where I would have friends and family because everything was taken and my small time in Denver I watched a man beat the holy heck out of his girlfriend because she spoke a different language than him when she was stressed out on my birthday of May 6th somehow later that month not only was I outside and stranded I walked all the way 50 miles outside of Denver to try to get help by the time a State trooper found me and my wife walking he informed us that we were not allowed to do this and drove us all the way back in the Denver more specifically right outside of Aurora the only place that helped me I believe is closed this guy is not joking there really is nothing there for you I couldn't find a bathroom nine times out of 10 most people get mad at homeless people for not having a decent place to go to the bathroom but I can tell you what from my experience I didn't wantto use the bathroom outside there's really nowhere for you to go and most people get to go to the bathroom in their own house whatever hours strikes their fancy if there's no store nearby you have no money and you have to go to the bathroom how are you supposed to go??
I tried going to the mental hospital for help both of us the moment they realize I had no home and why my current predicament got me there I was faking trama and didn't need help I was told at 2am with my wife get out get a job do you know no place will hire you if you have an address anytime soon someone suggests to you to get a job when you're homeless it's literally like asking someone without a plane to get a pilot's license and fly their playing the same day. we as a society having disrespectful view of the situations we don't have to go through but you never know how someone got to their situation until you're in a situation quite similar luckily I eventually found a place in Denver that got me out of there my situation didn't get much worse it didn't get much better but I will say by the month of July I had my own one bedroom apartment in Bangor Maine though because Denver is such a lousy system for assistance they told me they did not have the money to get me all the way to Bangor so I got dropped off at Boston I arrived at the Boston terminal Greyhound station at 12:45 at night I then proceeded to walk from Boston Massachusetts through Salem all the way to Bangor Maine down The Greenway trail.
someone once told me you can make excuses or you can make results but you can't make both. for anyone currently going through the homeless crisis I highly recommend you check out the Aurora crisis center if you get in I highly recommend you work the program you only get one month but if you're smart you can make that one month get you out of a bad situation it's all I needed I wasn't even there two weeks.
if you're lucky and you're in Denver on certain days you can find places that will give you food you're only panhandling should probably be for a hotel room and if you have at least a reparable way of dealing with yourself I do recommend going to the motel 6 off of federal you can get your hotel room there for less than $100 more often than not and if you really do have access money I highly recommend you have to head to the Little Caesars and get yourself food it's not glamorous but it's an idea and it's a game plan and it worked for me. Colorado is a pipe dream you're showing what you're wanted to see Colorado has vastly turned into Oakland California from my personal experience cities you don't want to be homeless in Denver Colorado Oakland California Las Vegas Nevada Boston Massachusetts Salem Massachusetts. most of the other ones in the world go without saying

And in no way are we protected or allowed to torment the neighorhoods. In actuality alot of us try to keep our areas clean and protect our neighbors and businesses. Please explain the comment of the Denver Broncos and how your opinion of them sucking is relative to the problems i face daily as a woman living in the streets. And also please keep in mind that criminal activity does not apply to all homeless. And portraying as though it does is ignorant. If your goin to showcase denver, please find one subject and present the truth. You just grabbed all of denvers dirty laundry and labeled it "homeless" . This entire video is incorrect and bullshit. And god bless that you have the opportunity to pay your rent. Thats a small luxury that i truly miss.
