I wouldn't know what flavor to expect from blue ramen since I see that and think of artificially flavored "blue raspberry" foods in the U.S. 😅 I also carry huge bags with too much stuff from the store because, how else am I supposed to get stuff home? 😂 I should get that little cart think from Ikea.
The blue ramen in this store is made with the juice of butterfly pea flowers in the soup, which is different from the blue spirulina used in Japanese stores. Butterfly pea flowers are rich in anthocyanins which are natural pigment ingredients . Although the soaked water itself has no taste, the anthocyanins will change color with the pH value. At first, they will appear blue in alkaline. If you add a little acidic lemon juice, it will become PH neutral and appear purple. If more lemon is added, it will become red under high acidic pH. So squeezing the lemon out of the noodles will change the color of the soup and bring another surprise to the guests. It also makes this bowl of ramen show a different sour taste.
Same, I've lived in England since 2006 and I find myself forgetting Norwegian words - and god help me if I have to write anything formal! I write several drafts and check with my family it makes sense before I sent it off XD
@@LayersOfJenn Go visit Hualien when the "Harvest Festival" is in high time something like the end of July during the Summertime. You will have a blast hands-down and mark my words - "You can take that to the bank".
I have the same dangly plant from IKEA 😂 I feel like they do good fake plants especially for the price. Wow that blue ramen looked good! Did the flavor change after leaving the lemon in? Or did it stay salty?
Hakka is a different language, kind of like how French and Spanish both descend from Latin but are now different, same relationship between Mandarin, Hakka, Minnan/Taiwanese, Cantonese etc. Miaoli and Hsinchu area is the largest concentration of Hakka people, though like all languages other than Mandarin in Taiwan it has been dying out in the younger generation. Historical reasons as to why are kind of sad
Ohhhh okay!! I didn’t realize it’s different. Thank you for the information. And I know there is a lot of Hakka people here in Hsinchu and Miaoli. I want to go to the mountains around here and film something once I gather enough information ~
Hakka is not a different language because it has the exact same grammatical and syntax structure as Mandarin. The only difference is how the words are pronounced. The fact that they sound totally different doesn't mean they are different languages. Hakka is a different dialect but not a different language.
@@Luther84695 a language is a dialect with an army and a navy. Portuguese and Spanish are more alike and diverged more recently than many dialects of Chinese, many of which are no longer mutually intelligible. Only one thing they still share is a common writing system, due to the semantic property of Chinese characters.
It's so nice see life going on and people going out, bars open and stuff. With the vaccine being distributed tho, I hope things will change sooner rather than later!! And also I won’t be doing an official apartment tour, just sharing my home through my everyday life shots~
Hakka language isn't a dialect. Mandarin, Taiwanese and Hakka are three disparate languages that you can't find anything in common in these three languages. That is, you can trace them back to different origins.
Is it just you or all Canadian do this? You're so brave to carry those things home by thsr…I'm the guy who will feel embarrassed, especially with ikea's bag and cart, lol. I'm smile when you talk about the drama you bet yourself, very graphic.

把台灣拍的真美!
Merry Christmas Jenn.
I wouldn't know what flavor to expect from blue ramen since I see that and think of artificially flavored "blue raspberry" foods in the U.S. 😅
I also carry huge bags with too much stuff from the store because, how else am I supposed to get stuff home?
I wonder if other ikeas have it!? I’ve only seen here and it’s so useful!
It’s such a cool and beautiful concept!! I love it 💯 💙
Same, I've lived in England since 2006 and I find myself forgetting Norwegian words - and god help me if I have to write anything formal! I write several drafts and check with my family it makes sense before I sent it off XD
maybe next time you can go to
Hualien~
im looking at places there!! it is good to go in winter or should i wait until spring!?
@@LayersOfJenn Go after spring,You will like the scenery of eastern Taiwan and you can also experience the aboriginal culture.
Ohhh okay!! I’ll remember that ~
@@LayersOfJenn Go visit Hualien when the "Harvest Festival" is in high time something like the end of July during the Summertime.
It changed just slightly, not too much!! And ikea does to fake places well, I don’t mind biting from there ~
Hakka is a different language, kind of like how French and Spanish both descend from Latin but are now different, same relationship between Mandarin, Hakka, Minnan/Taiwanese, Cantonese etc.
Jenn is right, Hakka is a dialect, origins from Guangdong province in China. Its not an official language, only commonly used in certain areas.
@@Luther84695 If they’re not mutual intelligible then they’re different languages

Welcome to Taiwan
Happy to be here :)
老實說,影片女主,很有氣質
It's so nice see life going on and people going out, bars open and stuff. Here in Europe we're in various stages of lockdowns depending on the country and I haven't been to a bar like in more than half a year or smt like that :(
I'm loving exploring Taiwan with you, looks like a great country! Btw, when will you be doing an apartment tour? *wink wink*
Kisses and love
With the vaccine being distributed tho, I hope things will change sooner rather than later!!
And also I won’t be doing an official apartment tour, just sharing my home through my everyday life shots~
Hakka language isn't a dialect. Mandarin, Taiwanese and Hakka are three disparate languages that you can't find anything in common in these three languages. That is, you can trace them back to different origins.
Wowww okay. Interesting !! I am learning ~ thank you!!!!!!!
Love u from kaohsiung!❤️
I will come to Kaohsiung soon 💯👌🏻
I saw Hsinchu, and then I click in. Love your video.

Is it just you or all Canadian do this? You're so brave to carry those things home by thsr…I'm the guy who will feel embarrassed, especially with ikea's bag and cart, lol. I'm smile when you talk about the drama you bet yourself, very graphic.
Haha I wonder 🤔 I’ve always been this way since I was young 😅
