I think Sukuna’s whole curse technique is curse energy manipulation 100.. being able to analyze & copy techniques he sees just once.. for all we know, the cleave & dismantle are techniques he copied from another sorcerer - but he just finds it to be the most efficient offensive attack, which is why he spams it. Purely speculating here, but this gets me so hyped for the upcoming chapters
This kinda makes me feel a bit better about Satoru Gojo's death honestly. The genuine closure he feels is enough for me. He had fun and gave it his all.
Yeah the closure is a lot better than expected. It makes me consider that Gege might have actually have Kenjaku win the culling game and Yuji will die. Like his grandfather wished for him at the very start; he'll be surrounded by his loved ones. His real win may not be saving the world, but maybe saving Megumi's soul from his current prison(being a fried brain Sukuna vessel)
@bxndit2980 like? The starchild is dead, his best friend is dead and due to his incompetence, his body fell into the hands of the most dangerous person, he got himself sealed, allowed several of his teammates to die (by not killing you already know who) fought a fight, apparently knowing he would have lost, not doing anything to make the enemy less dangerous and actually boosted the enemy into God tier levels.....you know what....he actually did do something, he set the guarantee end of the JK world in motion....you right I guess he achieved failure for everyone. Sukuna will kill everyone and reabsorb his other half shortly....remember this comment
@@BuludejHe achieved nothing lmao. He failed to save his students, he failed to give Geto a proper burial, he failed to do nothing. Greg really wrote himself into a corner with Gojo and it shows. Kinda speaks to his incompetency when it comes to good writing.
@@CryptomanXADVENT the star child got killed by toji zenin after he basically killed Gojo, with how ridiculously op toji is, that loss was inevitable and Gojo still clapped him afterwards. Also geto literally died at Gojos hands due to his own ideals and morals? what are u even talking about? geto didn’t die bc Gojo couldn’t save him. and as for this fight I’m yet to even watch the video so once I watch it I’ll get back to u, but calling him a character that achieved nothing except defeat is ridiculous, he was literally the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the current age and had exorcised countless cursed spirits. he trained and mentored a lot of first grade sorcerers too including the MC?
I love that Sukuna says to gojo that he will never forget him as long as he is alive, it's a perfect way to show respect to someone as strong as gojo. Also gojo talking about Sukuna not giving his all and that he might have lost regardless of the 10 Shadows or not which also shows respect..the fans are in each others throats while the characters talked sht during the entire fight but in the end they had respect for each other Goat gojo and goat Sukuna!!
tbh tho literally every single thing that gave sukuna the advantage in that fight was 10 shadows, and until he shows us he has something that could have killed gojo without 10S this will feel like an ass pull
Ya that made no sense at all. The 10 shadow users were seen as direct counters to the six eyes/infinity users. If Sukuna was struggling against gojo with his abilities on top of the 10 shadows technique, how the hell would he win without them. Mahoraga was the only reason he stood a chance.
That was just a garbage scene. Sukuna barely won with the 10 shadows. Without Mahoraga, he would’ve died during Gojo’s last domain, and when he passed out when Gojo hit him with black flash. Gege just has Gojo say those things because he hates Gojo.
@@newt2120I mean he wasn’t really struggling it’s just that his strategy the entire fight was to sit back more and essentially dodge or tank hits, until he could figure out how to bypass limitless. It’s like two people are going to fight but one starts the fight with their arms tied behind their back. While the other person (gojo) is going all out trying to beat them before they get their arms untied. Then after they (sukuna) gets an arm untied they ko the other guy. I mean is it really fair to say that he was struggling then. Given the only reason he couldn’t go on any real offensive is because he couldn’t use his abilities. I mean the win condition the entire fight was all about sukuna getting around infinity, because they both knew that day infinity were gone then gojo doesn’t have the durability to go blow for blow with sukuna for a prolonged time. It makes perfect sense u guys just need to stop coping wait a week then reread the manga with a clear head. Cause they made it abundant clear multiple times sukuna was holding back not by choice but because he couldn’t use his techniques. And because he had to fight everyone else after including kashimo. So it’s pretty easy to understand and it does make sense as to how he would win without 10 shadows. As him winning all comes down to him figuring out how to bypass limitless, and he is one of the biggest brain characters in the verse. And in the most recent chapter they didn’t say he “needed” mahoraga to figure it out only that he used mahoraga to figure it out. Kind of like doing some math, yes he used the calculator to get the answer in a much easier guaranteed way, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t have done the math himself. Also given what we saw in the domain clashes, even if he didn’t have 10s from the start he could’ve actually killed gojo in the domain clashes. As he didn’t actually use anything but DA, during that entire portion of the fight, and the only thing that caused gojo to survive after the 5th domain clash was gojo barely hitting sukuna with one UV. Which was just a direct result of sukuna opting to turn off DA to continue the adaption process, meanwhile gojo was taking the time to do as much damage as he could. Which delayed sukuna and let him get his domain off just barely by 0.01 seconds, and hit sukuna with UV. So that means that had sukuna just kept DA (which was stated to reduce the damage he takes) he wouldn’t have taken as much damage, and wouldn’t have been delayed as a result or gotten hit with UV. So subsequently it would’ve been a default sukuna win as after the 5th clash sukuna would’ve been able to cast the enclosed domain successfully. As he wouldn’t get brain damage, as a result of not being hit with that one UV.
i’m terrified after Gojo’s death, him winning was probably the last chance the cast had at a decently happy ending. Even if they do come out on top, it’s gonna be fuuuuucked up 😭
Well gege did say every main character, but one dies or one main character dies and everyone else lives. So far it's looking like the former (assuming Nobara is dead).
MAKE THIS A MOVIE. I DONT WANT TO WAIT A WEEKLY EPISODE, I JUST WANT PURE BRAWL since the manga doesnt even want us to breathe and explain on what happened. Lets go all out, the last page of Chapter is a great cliffhanger for the Movie as well and it just ends, imagine the fans watching in Awe on wtf happened. This is pure Movie quality content, the fan service of fighting nonstop etc
I see it simple. Sukuna is a genius, so is Gojo. Gojo was unsure that he could beat a Heian Era Sukuna only on the fact of how smart and resourceful his enemy was. Without Mahoraga,Sukunas entire arsenal of CTs would never bypass Infinity. That’s what me as the reader has understood so far. Sukuna is just a crafty devil. If Gojo doesn’t come back…well that truly spells defeat for the main cast, it’s legit not even close. Update: He Back🤣
It will be close cause yuji will be partially immune to sukunas cursed energy in general & he's watched so many friends die. That emotion turns to cursed energy if you do it right. Yuji will be a monster
@@asonofliberty3662Cap, happened enough here already lmfao. Sakuna evolved while fighting gojo when he was initially not on gojo level when the fight first started.
@@sky-oq5mr Sukuna spent multiple chapters trying to set that up, which was always his plan. This manga has an incredible way to flesh out their characters.

Sukuna has been around for a 1000 years and the Heian Era made him stronger..that is war makes you stronger(consider Madara). Anyhow, Gojo threatened Sukuna to the point that he had to plan his victory..like Kenjaku. A 28 year old was able to make 2 1000 year Olds scared. That says a lot.
@@rand12389he felt tension for the first time in 1,000 years, that’s from the narrator, no amount of posturing from Sukuna or self deprecation from Gojo will change that
@@Mcf4742 Yeah but all the glazing Gojo did for Sukuna post-death kind of erases this line from the narrator. Sukuna felt tension, but so what? He clearly wasn't worried he would die as he was apparently holding back the entire time. Even if you say he was holding back out of necessity because his other tools couldn't bypass infinity, he literally survived everything Gojo hit him with and even when we thought he was on his last leg he immediately healed the very next chapter after 1-shotting Gojo with his new world-cutting powers lol.
@@Mcf4742 no amount of cope will re write him feeling "uneasy" (because that's exactly what is said) To scared, you gojo fans just be creating narratives, just like kusakabe claiming gojo is the winner, and his ASSUMPTIONS on where he thought sukuna and gojo were at 💀, he was so wrong
54:50 i think sukunas nervousness here was 100% genuine. Sure he was "holding back" but he needed to focus on megumis technique to learn how to bypass infinity. So i think sukuna was genuinely nervous and shook up until he finally learned the bypass manuever
Yeah Sukuna was probably contemplating whether to pull out his trump card or keep this risky game he’s been playing the whole fight, but I think despite that nervousness Sukuna also felt genuine pleasure in indulging in this fear of losing, this possibility of losing made that victory far sweeter and he evolved his curse technique through this experience like how gojo evolved with Toji
Yeah, because one slip up meant losing. He sacrificed pretty much the entirety of ten shadows to kill Gojo, and the payout is that he now has probably the most insane CT of the series.
At this point, wondering if Sukuna had Mahoraga’s wheel enabled from the start.. and whether Gojo anticipated this as well.. like his way of making sure he doesn’t accidentally kill Megumi in the end. I highly doubt he’s getting up at this point
I found this explanation for Sukuna's technique on Reddit: A lot of people don't seem to get how Sukuna was able to get past Gojo's Infinity in the latest chapter, I was initially one of them, but more recent translations have enabled me to gain a better understanding. So I'll explain it in simpler terms for you all: In essence, Sukuna created an *Extension Technique* that allowed him to bypass Gojo's inviolability. Extension Techniques are abilities developed through training to maximize the applications of Innate Techniques (i.e. Resonance, Supernova, etc.). Sukuna was able to do this by imitating Mahoraga, since as we learned in this chapter, Mahoraga's adaptations can be both defensive and offensive in nature. Sukuna couldn't change the sum and substance of his cursed energy to nullify the Infinity like Mahoraga (which is why he used Domain Amplification to do so) but found he could mimic Mahoraga when it altered its method of attack. Mahoraga broadened its target from just Gojo to the world itself, enhancing its efficacity so that everything within reach of the Sword of Extermination's swing would be severed without exception. This served as the basis for the killing blow Sukuna dealt against Gojo in this chapter, what makes this so impressive is that Sukuna was able to do this on the fly, with no practice, only after having witnessed it just once before. We've actually seen something similar earlier on in the series when Nanami fought Mahito, and utilized the Collapse technique, which targets the surrounding environment rather than a singular person or object. Sukuna basically did the same thing, of course, he did this on a more "conceptual" level than merely a "physical" one. Tl;dr Sukuna imbued his Innate Technique with a Sure-Hit factor like in a Domain. I hope I was able to clear things up for some of you.
Again, THAT MAKES NO SENSE... "what makes this so impressive is that Sukuna was able to do this on the fly" 🤣🤣 AGAINST THE SUPPOSEDLY STRONGEST. GEGE is a lazy writer, still one of the best modern shonen but this made no sense, it really is just bad and lazy writing
I think it more like the whole world is a painting and Gojo was drawn innit thus he cut the painting it self resulting in Gojo being cut as well . Spacial seperation would be an accurate description he cut the world space it self (painting) and thus what was drawn innit (Gojo Sataro) was caught in the slashing as well , the reason it is spacial seperation is because the slashing didn't travel whatsoever.
@@SekaiShinjitsu Sukuna always learn stuff on the fly it was mentioned way before like : "Making he's body a cursed object after seeing Kenjaku do it , or learning to restore he's burnt out CT from seing Gojo do it , and seeing Mahoraga adaptation comes to a point in which Sukuna can now immitate" U can hate the chapter but calling him lazy is objectively wrong due to him making the fight complicated when it comes to the mechanic of the fight.
@@SekaiShinjitsuit was established before that Sukuna can mimick abilities at first glance. This was also foreshadowed throughout the fight. When Sukuna first fought mahoraga he was ecstatic about the fact that mahoraga can “see his slashes” and Gojo acts very surprised at Sukunas first cleave despite it being pretty simple. I’m assuming Gojo saw something with 6 eyes that we didn’t And finally Sukuna was demanding Mahoraga to show him a way of adapting that Sukuna could implement. “you are my shikigami not Megumis” at this point bro just read the fight again. This also explains why Sukuna didn’t just break Gojos domain for an easy win and insisted on adapting. I guess he was just so obsessed with getting stronger and planned this from the start
@@SekaiShinjitsuno it makes perfect sense and extension techniques were shown by Sukuna in the last fight he had, and to overcome a limitation of his own technique. When Yuji and Maki jumped him, any time he tried to use cleave or dismantle on them Megumi would essentially block his output, causing it to fluctuate to 10% of his normal output on his technique. He bypassed this by using his technique directly on the ground in a spider web type fashion to throw off his opponents. By not using it on them directly and by changing the way he applied the technique he was able to destabilize the fighting ground and not just cut into it like a normal application of cleave or dismantle would, and Megumi wasn’t able to bottleneck his output so it was at 100%. Sukunas battle IQ is shown to be entirely unmatched even by Gojo, he was using Mahoraga to lay out a blueprint for a way to bypass infinity bc he knew it could, it was all set up. The only valid complaint abt the chapter was the execution being off screen, which I personally didn’t like. It was jarring to see Gojo go from a winner to a fraction but the set up was there, the landing just wasn’t as good as it could have been in my opinion
For me, the panel right after Sukuna says he'll never forget Gojo is quite nice. Some people think that Gojo died off screen, but you can see him smirk one last time after Sukuna thanked him. Gojo dies satisfied. Very well done fight. Truly, one of the most invigorating battles in all of manga, ever.
236 SPOILERS There is something strange about Gojo’s death. I know there’s all this talk about how much the mangaka hates Gojo but Gege doesn’t really off screen people. Nanami, Yaga, Toji, Geto, Rika, Yuki, Riko Amanai, Mai Zenin, Jogo, the Zenin Clan, the Zenin cousin guy who became a bug, Mahito, Hanami - all died on screen/panel. The only one we HAVENT *seen* dead is Nobara, who I suspect plays a role in the manga’s end game. I’ve been thinking about resonance for a long time now, since we first saw it in action and were then reminded how many fingers still were loose at the time. Then add the fact that Gojo had a finger hidden somewhere, AND the other 19 fingers are consolidated, I would wager money Nobara has the last finger. Or maybe Shoko. We’ve seen Gojo fool people with death before (Yuji in the first arc). Gojo dying off screen is bizarre. Gojo may very well be dead frfr but there’s something fishy about the off panel death.
Every chapter was showing us gojo going all out and doing things nobody else had thought of or tried to do ,he was fighting a 3 vs 1 battle where one character was dead meat (agito) the other was adapting (mahoraga) and the last one(Sukuna) was studying the one who was adapting. I find it extremely genius how mahoraga was essentially Sukuna's teacher on how to find a way to cut through infinity and when he saw and understood how ,he did it. Gojo is a jujutsu battle genius but to me Sukuna is an even bigger genius than gojo (the honored one).
yep, sukuna just used maho as a blueprint to find out how to pass thru infinity, first time he couldnt replicate it, but maho kept adapting and right before he died sukuna had basically won already
Meh. Without Mahoraga, Gojo would’ve won mid diff. Sukuna would’ve died during Gojo’s last domain. Not really a genius if you need someone else to figure stuff out for you.
@@HeavenlyNekoOfficialhe really couldn't gojo showed that he was able to adopt to sukuna domain exposison and actually counter it something no one else in the series has shown to do and it was a domain at full power Sukuna didn't hold back because of a choice he held back because he was forced to do so the only thing capable of actually dealing with gojo was TS there was nothing else in sukuna arsenal that could actually defeat gojo overwhelming raw power sukuna exhausted the ten shadows to its limits Sukuna himself stated TS was the only reason he won and it was the only thing that could actually guarantee a win nothing else would have guaranteed the win for sukuna
@@waterpillar1977Starting to think Gege sucks at providing explanations lol. We shouldn't have to have a back and forth. It should have been made clear by the end of their fight what was happening and why.
Don't underestimate Yuji realising that black flash knocked Sukuna out and damaged Mahoraga. We're about to witness the sparks of black rain on the battlefield of Jujutsu
If Sukuna could ingrain his cursed technique onto his domain imagine how much more powerful he could've been had he established the symbiotic relationship with his vessel. The Malevolent Shrine and complete Chimera Shadow Garden combo would be insane
1:07:57 this is probably confirmation that Gojo is not coming back, because him implying that he doesn't wanna leave all these people he knew again by possibly waking up. Also, he seemed pretty satisfied where he was right then so all the Gojo fans (including me) should probably know he isn't coming back (probably) and he was pretty happy dying anyway so he MIGHT remain dead for now

@@boyblue3270 bro relax and I appreciate Gege's work as it's my top 5 animanga. His writing is amazing and the story blew me away but you don't have to be that serious over a joke
Attacking the author because of your low reading comprehension is crazy. Their were 0 ass pulls from either side. Who cares if sukuna used 10S when in the JJK universe, youre ABLE to copy, steal, and learn new cursed techniques? Sukuna stole 10S by being able to turn himself into a cursed artifact, thus he stole megumis own abilities through his own aptitude in jujutsu (a technique which he learned after seeing kenjaku do it once). If the argument you’re REALLY trying to make through this Fraudkuna agenda is Gojo was born with a better innate technique or more natural gifts than Sukuna, thats a fantastic point/argument to make. I would actually 100% agree with that take. But if your trying to push the argument that gojo is stronger than sukuna OR that sukuna is a fraud, then you’re just tripping and have INSANE bias. Sukuna PROVED he was stronger than gojo. That’s an objective reality. Gojo had time to plan for the fight just like Sukuna. He just lost. This isnt plot armor or poor writing, it’s a bias problem in Gojo fans. Plain and simple
I didn’t even realize the amount of glazing towards Sukuna upon first reading this. So Gojo is clearly winning for majority of the fight, just to get off screened and revealed that Sukuna was somehow not even trying💀????
I swear you bitches jsut be staring at Gojo's abs the whole time and not reading shit xD. Like Gojo acknowledges Sukuna is going for the risky play with his Megumi soul plan. Sukuna set Megumi's soul to take the Unlimited Void so that Mahoraga could adapt to Gojo's domain automatically and from there Sukuna could use him to learn a way to bypass infinity. If Sukuna wanted he could have jsut destroyed Gojo's barrier from outside if he didn't care for Mahoraga's plan, it owuld have been much safer and easier. Not to mention Sukuna having a whole ass transformation it was always pretty clear that Sukuna didn't go 100% against Gojo in this xD.
Did I miss something? Gojo blows himself up, then completely heals himself, before his vision he’s standing up right laughing. it literally says “gojo wins” then it shows him in half on the ground… He JUST healed himself and Sukuna has not thrown another attack… They really killed this man off screen…
Pin this Chapter 228 is actually the most important point in this fight. Sukuna had the option to destroy unlimited void from inside. He could've avoided the 3 min fight this way and would never get hit with unlimited void. But at the same time, it's guaranteed that gojo would always get a brain damage after 5 continuous domain expansions. So after domain clashes, gojo would be facing a sukuna who can use domain, while he wouldn't be able to. Gojo's RCT output would also be dropping rapidly. The reason sukuna didn't go for it is probably because staying inside unlimited void for a longer period of time was beneficial for the adaptation process. Gojo and sukuna confirmed that adaptation is gradual. If you read chapter 229, you can see that gojo is actively using limitless to thrash around sukuna inside the domain. It means sukuna even stopped using domain amplification inside domain. This is probably why gojo mentioned he's unsure he could beat sukuna even if he didn't have ten shadows.
That still doesn't make a whole lot of sense though. The idea that he couldn't go for it because he wanted better adaptation is pointless if Gojo is guaranteed brain damage. He should have done that, used his own domain, and kept Maha to take care of Infinity.
@@aleph0540 It does make sense. Sukuna wanted Mahoraga as a trump card. My headcanon is he wanted Megumi's technique to kill Gojo like how he did against Tsumiki. Sukuna's only miscalculation is he underestimated Gojo inside the domain battle and sustained more injuries than he anticipated
@@aleph0540Sukunas just wanted to learn a new application of his cursed technique. It’s entirely in character for him to take the risk to get stronger. Especially considering this would be his only good fight ( for all he knows)
When Gojo says he doesn’t think he could’ve won even if Sukuna didn’t have the Ten Shadows technique, it makes me wonder why he ever bragged about being able to defeat him in the beginning of the series after Yuji had awakened him from eating the first finger. Maybe he was just referring to his limited power during that time with only having 1/20 fingers, but even in this fight Sukuna didn’t have all 20 either. Either way, I knew that Gojo would either have to be killed off or severely nerfed (Like Naruto & Sasuke) in order for the story to progress properly. At least in the context that it would not be good storytelling for Gojo to just neg diff any threat that comes. Cause now at least the newer generation has a chance to shine and/or surpass the upper limits of what Gojo was capable of, and the main antagonist is still alive & kicking while also still not even being at full power. I am kinda glad that Gege wrapped up their fight in this way though, at least Gojo had closure with himself & Sukuna.. and while it sucks to see such an awesome character die it’s refreshing for a story like this to have actual risk and consequences involved. Hopefully characters like Yuji learn from this battle and use it to grow even stronger for when the time comes to take on Sukuna 1 v 1.
I don't think Gojo was always lying, I just think he is cocky, but the result of the battle is what changed his mind. It's stated that Sukuna is holding back potential cards in case he gets jumped, and by the time he won he didn't even need those, so it's not that crazy to believe it would've been a tough fight even without the 10S.
@@KrelosWanchez true I kinda forgot about that part, still I wonder if he’s only at like 95-99% power currently and the 20th finger takes him to a whole other level of strength. Also now that we know he was holding one hell of a card up his sleeve (reclamation of his OG body from the Heian era) which makes me worried that Megumi is basically no longer part of the story/doesn’t get the chance to fight alongside the rest of his team because Sukuna is now at his “peak” and I would assume defeating him is going to basically be the climax of the story (unless he can somehow be separated from Megumi and exist independently without a vessel)
I have the feeling that Yuta and Yuuji are gonna actively look to thrash the absolute shit out of Kenjaku and Sukuna, but I've seen theories that Yuuji is perhaps also an honored one, not too dissimilar from Satoru. If you take into account that he was a Cursed Womb/Death Painting born as a result of a specific plan with nigh-superhuman strength, resolve, and durability, with what to me seems like a watered down Heavenly Restriction, this battle is what might allow Yuuji to tap into his true strength and maybe put an end to Sukuna. And let's not forget, the two guys I'm talking about are Satoru Gojo's star pupils, so you know something big is on the way.
It'd be more of a group effort I feel rather than just having Yuji alone defeat Sukuna. Gojo was still a lot to deal with and Kashimo having a one use limit of his own CT would make it powerful. People forget that Yuta is still a special grade too. Since they don't have to worry about large attacks like Hollow Purple, they have a decent chance ganging up on Sukuna so long as they play smart.
My heart is broken in half but at the same time i am proud of Gojo for being born, for being there and the people he saved and had an impact on. I am really grateful Gojo as a character ever existed, and most of all.... *THE WHOLE GANG BETTER JUMP SAKUNA'S ASS FOR REVENGE!!!* If sakuna doesn't die one day and megumin getting saved, I'm gonna riot👿💔😭
It'd be funny asf if sukuna and kenjaku won and honestly a good ending with that being said I'm fine with sukuna getting jumped and killed. Let gege cook up this ending idc who dies.
Goatjo 🤝 Goatkuna: being absolutely HIM but in different ways. Gojo is simply like that but Sukunas battle IQ was simply different. Not the biggest fan of how Gojo died but it makes sense in context, the execution just felt jarring given the chapter before it was Gojo pulling the craziest clutch of the entire series, but both ended the fight with high respect for eachother, despite the enormous amount of shit both talked this fight
I predicted what would happen in another UA-cam video comment section probably a month and half or 2 ago. When Sakuna said “I’ll start by ripping off those scales” he literally meant he was going to get through Gojo’s Infinity. That’s all he wanted to prove and wasn’t even worried about 6 eyes meant nothing to him. But the most important thing, and where I think the series is going to go after Sakuna kills more “Strongest”, is what “True Jujutsu” is. Yuji is one way or another going to understand like Sakuna does and I’ll make the prediction right now that they’ll destroy eachother. Yuji and Sakuna have an uncanny resemblance and relationship. 2 sides of the same coin. When Sakuna said “I am the rejected one” that is Yuji as well. This is their story, everyone else is cannon fodder. Gojo was talented, but he was not enlightened. Side note: ( I fully expect Yuji to make some sort of heavenly pact)
I think gege did an amazing job tbh. Having gojo win would t make the story more interesting and the ending gojo got was really pure and well deserved and seeing him happy and having the hopes of his pupils maybe defeat sukuna is a much better storyline than if it ended with gojo as the strongest
The past 18 hours... I've spend 12 of those hours watching the past 2 videos before this one, including this one. What a masterpiece. You've done it again sir. I am very happy.
Exactly my boy can die once he beat Kenjaku also if they made it a point for Gojo said you have to cut off my head to Toji then why die being sliced I hope it’s just temporary my heart is shattered lol too many good characters dying
Yeah. I heavily doubt that the conversation with Nanami just happened for no reason. Gojo will probably come back even more broken, but not in the next few chapters. He has to regenerate more than half of his body afterall, which might be pretty hard on death’s door.
That's true, cause they would've just steam rolled Kenjaku on some Jumpjutsu Kaisen madness. Would have been a boring ending. I'm still upset though, I love Gojo.
@@markhegedus1981 definitely! The plot would have had no tension going forward. Just Gojo beating everyone's ass. I'm really excited to see a grudge match between all the students and Sukuna. Especially Yuuji, I want him to get some licks in on that Sukuna so bad!
i prefer gojo being sealed and/or incapacitated than seeing him do a yamamoto. hes liked a lot by the fandom. id even prefer him not being unsealed at all in the first place. him being unsealed did NOTHING at all, no change whatsoever. it just forced sukuna transferring bodies from yuji to megumi. which i hated. it wudv been better if yuji/sukuna vs kashimo and get 1 shot by kashimo via kamikazee attack. then sukuna force feeds to megumi in a fresh body and yuji recovers and powerup via near death experience. learns RCT and his godlike OP CT plus DE. then 1v1s megumi/sukuna like naruto vs sasuke. then stalemates and sukuna learns love and spirits away and leaves megumi but gave a power up like mastered 10S. kenjaku appears and kills megumi and almost kills yuji since both are weakened but yuta and the others come in to save him but gets killed too. angel then gets mad and releases gojo from prison realm and did a rinne tensei technique to revive yuta and megumi. and kenjaku hijacks gojos body. last fight will be gojo vs everyone. and last ditch effort gojo freezes kennys actions and yuji did soul swap and does an akaza move. gojo kenjaku sukuna and yuji dies. and everyone else survive
I remember watching this vid when it came out and agreeing with you that i hadnt seen takaba in a bit and now coming back to it after the 240 leaks its insane to me that you were right about it honestly.
I think people are taking what Gojo said in the afterlife too seriously. Like come on, 10 shadows with Mahoraga Sukuna (which is basically batman with prep time) is a full on counter to Gojo, and he STILL barely came out alive. I'm not saying Sukuna is weaker than Gojo, but a better fight would've been true form Heian Era Sukuna vs Gojo. Pure strength vs Pure strength. My point is Sukuna didn't win because he was stronger, but rather because he was smarter.
i think just sukuna v gojo wud only be possible in a sort of spin off or a different storyline in general, cause right after gojo sukuna has everyone else to fight, so going all out might just make the mc fight less interesting
1:04 i actually want to see how they will treat this part. Yuji said Gojos technique was in the way. Which is wild. Wonder what was going through Gojos mind?
Mappa really should do this in the movie format , consider that they still have much time to catch up with the recent chapter . If they really do it , i hope many people support them n go watch it legally, not pirated via third party source , most people didn’t appreciate the animators’s hard work enough by watching it illegally.
I’m an anime only but when I saw this I had to watch it and as the narrator said I understand why gojo had to be defeated . It’s just really sad to see him go but I’m excited for the fight to be animated though.
Thank you for this video, I try to read as intently as I can to understand what’s happened but there is just so much info. This breakdown just makes me appreciate the fight and overall manga even more
To explain how Gojo survives his own explosion, you can assume he did it just like at the beginning of the fight. As the damage occurs, Gojo is constantly firing of RCT to heal back the damage as it's happening. Due to the speed of RCT being slower than the actual explosion, Gojo is still left injured, but healing afterwards.
I'm pretty sure it's something else entirely. Gojo says he survived it because it's his own cursed energy, which seems to imply that if you get hit by your own attack, it seemingly deals less damage than it would to someone else
I think easier way to explain how Sukuna easily bypass Gojo infinity is by neutralizing properties of Gojo CE. You do realize that infinity is only possible because of CE, so of course by adjusting the slashes CE he is able to bypass it. For the domain expansion i think the easy way to explain is that Sukuna made binding vow to shrine that instead of outputting very powerful one huge slash, he opt for quantity which is why none of the slash in the shrine one shots Gojo. Sukuna likely concentrated his CE in the killing blow which is why it was so lethal. Other reason why Gojo survives Shrine is because his reinforcement is on other level. If you look at it this way i think the whole chapter makes sense
Your completely wrong about sukuna bypassing Gojo, neutralizing CE is something only mahoraga could do. What sukuna did was just cut the space Gojo was in rather than Gojo himself.
sukuna didn’t neutralize the properties of gojo’s CE, he simply targeted the space/world itself and since gojo’s infinity is part of the world it can be cut. this is all possible because of sukuna learning how mahoraga did it
Nah extension and everything that enables cursed techniques are from CE. If you agree that Shrine application are Cleave and Dismantle then you agree both are things that is possible because of CE. Are you saying that Sukuna himself can cut the whole world without CE?, And cleave + dismantle are physical slashes? I think instead of Cleave interacts with Gojo Limitless, Sukuna made his technique ignores it by adjusting Cleave properties which is the whole point of that killing blow
@@ivann9924yes curse energy is what powers DE and Cleave and Dismantle, but you’re wrong. Sukuna changed his target, not is CE. It’s explained in the actual manga, I’m not sure why you’re arguing with people telling you you’re wrong.
For me i think the main reason why Sukuna was able to beat Gojo is because of prep time and he saw first hand Gojo's domain ability through Yuji's Body and coincidentally found out a way to bypass infinity by discovering the shikigami Mahoraga . If sukuna is in his original body without vessel probably he would already get hit by infinite void
@@sarov7658if you're a gojo meat rider you don't know shit about writing. I’m heartbroken that Gojo died and initially when I heard about it I was hoping he’d come back somehow but now after seeing this I think this is the way it was supposed to end for him
No one is going to kill sakuna... I think sakuna is going to finish off everybody... Because I don't see how this can end with him losing after what he did to gojo
You might be the first person I've watched that I feel like agrees with me, that I liked Gojo's ending. I am also still hard coping that gojo will come back though, He's easily probably my favorite character from JJK
Before the Sukuna vs Gojo fight even began: •Sukuna built up his power back to full •Then amped his already full power even more by eating various cursed items •Then obtained a stronger body that is more fit to fight sorcerers •Then added 10 Shadows to his arsenal •Brought a cursed item just in case Sukuna needed all of that prep time and multiple amps just to stand a fighting chance against base Gojo. Sukuna was not holding back at all, that’s bs. During Sukuna vs Gojo: •Gojo brought Sukuna to near death at least 7 times in 11 chapters •Sukuna used the 10 shadows to adapt to void just to have a fighting chance at countering •Domain Expansion is the pinnacle of sorcery, it has been established in the world lore. Sukuna used Domain Expansion at least 5 times, his strongest technique against Gojo. The narrator and Sukuna fans claim that Sukuna isn’t even trying yet Sukuna almost died multiple times, needed to adapt/create a new technique just to counter Gojo, and used his strongest technique multiple times against Gojo. Sukuna literally tried his hardest just to survive. And what does Geje do? Off-Screens Gojo because he’s a Sukuna meat rider.
When I first read it, I thought it was terrible that Gojo was killed offscreen. It was jarring just seeing him in the afterlife after the narration declared him the winner. I thought I had missed a chapter honestly. But that jarring feeling is perfect. We didn't see it happen and neither did Gojo because Sukuna cut f'ing space conceptually. He used Mahagora to model out the win condition we here about so often in Gojo vs battles. If you can break time/space or manipulate it on a conceptual level then you have what it takes to beat Gojo. The ending to this fight is the type of writing that only gets better with time and analysis. It's honestly genius. Even better from how much you hate it at first. Sukuna played the long game anticipating this battle.
This exactly, I feel like most of the people complaining don’t understand the context and intentional execution by Gege, it’s fair to not like how it was done, but to just think it’s straight up bad because we didn’t see what we wanted to see is unfair IMO
I mean, the cut itself is a big problem, and off screening the character that had so much setup whilst making what can be considered "character assassination" in afterlife become such a big part of the chapter is probs the worst way Gege could've done it. Even if it was the original idea and he had this genius plan, the hate is still more than deserved lol
@frozenandchosen the character whose biggest part of personality is being "the strongest" glazing another character was just bad, lol. Gojo saying it could've gone either way without mahoraga is strange, to say the least. It also doesn't help that he completely forgot about any other character, probably mind raped his own disciple multiple times, and left everyone with a murder hobo Sukuna with a super strong infinity cut to kill. The fact that Geto became this bad guy that didn't grow up and Gojo is now basically the same is... stupid. I remember people saying how Gojo is the most genius type of writing possible because Gege gave him strength and something to overcome that's out of reach his strength provides. This was why Gojo ended up becoming a teacher narratively, but now, not only was this narrative wasted, Gojo also turned out to be an asshole who didn't even care about this stuff to begin with. I get that there can be a bigger setup, but I can not understand how in the actual hell Gege will do it.
I don't have a problem with Gojo dying, i just think the way Gege went about it was contrived and damaging the ultimate narrative because how the hell are the other characters going to defeat Sukuna now, post-Gojo?
Mahoraga beat Gojo with Sukuna’s technique so in a way I guess you can say Sukuna won by giving his technique to Mahoraga. But at the same time we’ve yet to see Sukuna’s actual techniques since he only used Megumi’s the entire fight aside from his domain.
Nope, Sukuna copied Mahoraga's slash not the other way. Mahorga adaptation never stops first they focused on neutralization and after that started forming attack to bypass infinity.
@@kvng7723 and Mahoraga adapted to slashing techniques when Sukuna fought it in Shibuya. It utilized the attack it learned back then, applying the adaptation to infinity to the slash.
@@aliveandwellinisrael2507 That's also my theory but then Sukuna said that after defending itself from an attack Mahoraga goes for offence and he does have sword with it. So even without encounter with Sukuna in Shibuya it would have done same in Gojo fight.

U must go for the head
Fr man is so talented. He is also very cunning and the author doesn't reveal all his powers
@@seizuresaladventuresWRONG. Gojo got smoked, end of story.

I love that Sukuna says to gojo that he will never forget him as long as he is alive, it's a perfect way to show respect to someone as strong as gojo. Also gojo talking about Sukuna not giving his all and that he might have lost regardless of the 10 Shadows or not which also shows respect..the fans are in each others throats while the characters talked sht during the entire fight but in the end they had respect for each other
Goat gojo and goat Sukuna!!
Finally someone who isn't just giving Gojo excuses but just talking about what the characters themselves stated
tbh tho literally every single thing that gave sukuna the advantage in that fight was 10 shadows, and until he shows us he has something that could have killed gojo without 10S this will feel like an ass pull
Its probably gonna be yuji as the last one standing, so that he cant have his "proper death" surrounded by friends.

It's implied that he had the wheel for a good amount of the fight atleast
Cope is real
Call it what you want but it def seems like they came in with a plan in mind
I doubt it too but I really really hope he does.
I found this explanation for Sukuna's technique on Reddit:
A lot of people don't seem to get how Sukuna was able to get past Gojo's Infinity in the latest chapter, I was initially one of them, but more recent translations have enabled me to gain a better understanding. So I'll explain it in simpler terms for you all:
In essence, Sukuna created an *Extension Technique* that allowed him to bypass Gojo's inviolability.
@@SekaiShinjitsu Sukuna always learn stuff on the fly it was mentioned way before like : "Making he's body a cursed object after seeing Kenjaku do it , or learning to restore he's burnt out CT from seing Gojo do it , and seeing Mahoraga adaptation comes to a point in which Sukuna can now immitate"
U can hate the chapter but calling him lazy is objectively wrong due to him making the fight complicated when it comes to the mechanic of the fight.
@@SekaiShinjitsuit was established before that Sukuna can mimick abilities at first glance. This was also foreshadowed throughout the fight.
When Sukuna first fought mahoraga he was ecstatic about the fact that mahoraga can “see his slashes”
and Gojo acts very surprised at Sukunas first cleave despite it being pretty simple. I’m assuming Gojo saw something with 6 eyes that we didn’t
And finally Sukuna was demanding Mahoraga to show him a way of adapting that Sukuna could implement. “you are my shikigami not Megumis”
at this point bro just read the fight again.

236 SPOILERS
There is something strange about Gojo’s death.

If Sukuna could ingrain his cursed technique onto his domain imagine how much more powerful he could've been had he established the symbiotic relationship with his vessel. The Malevolent Shrine and complete Chimera Shadow Garden combo would be insane
I don't think that would work isn't a domain constructed with your innate technique and sukuna is probably the best with jujutsu
1:07:57 this is probably confirmation that Gojo is not coming back, because him implying that he doesn't wanna leave all these people he knew again by possibly waking up.
Bro- your story telling is second only to the actual series. UA-cam gods - bless this man 🎉

Oh boy do I have the memes for toy
im extremely disappointed gojo didnt become an apple logo wearing toji's outfit
Gege wanted to represent android users this time around by making him a samsung galaxy z flip5 instead
Gojo IS stronger, sukuna used mahoraga which wasn't his own technique and 100% would have lost without it.
I didn’t even realize the amount of glazing towards Sukuna upon first reading this. So Gojo is clearly winning for majority of the fight, just to get off screened and revealed that Sukuna was somehow not even trying💀????
lol yea crazy
It’s because you don’t understand the fight at all
I swear you bitches jsut be staring at Gojo's abs the whole time and not reading shit xD.
1 million views!!! Diavolo deserves it
I love the fact you use Elden Ring, and Dark Souls boss music/themes. It fits some of the fights so perfectly.
Did I miss something? Gojo blows himself up, then completely heals himself, before his vision he’s standing up right laughing. it literally says “gojo wins” then it shows him in half on the ground… He JUST healed himself and Sukuna has not thrown another attack… They really killed this man off screen…
The fact that they had to jump gojo to beat him is actually crazy
Jump kaisen then Sukuna is gonna get jumped
Pin this
Chapter 228 is actually the most important point in this fight.
Well it makes sense Sukuna was taking heavier risks to get the adaption
@@aleph0540sounds like it'd be too risky to have maha out though
@@aleph0540 It does make sense. Sukuna wanted Mahoraga as a trump card. My headcanon is he wanted Megumi's technique to kill Gojo like how he did against Tsumiki. Sukuna's only miscalculation is he underestimated Gojo inside the domain battle and sustained more injuries than he anticipated
@@aleph0540Sukunas just wanted to learn a new application of his cursed technique. It’s entirely in character for him to take the risk to get stronger. Especially considering this would be his only good fight ( for all he knows)

"Throughout the Fruits and Vegetables, I alone am the Chopped One." - Goatjo Satoru
Can’t believe it’s already been half a year since “Gojover”
Also he has the equivalent to 20 fingers if not more because he ate the corpse and has 10s
0:02 Bro Eizen’s reveal will always be better than Aizen’s reveal. So much better
They will all die
It'd be more of a group effort I feel rather than just having Yuji alone defeat Sukuna. Gojo was still a lot to deal with and Kashimo having a one use limit of his own CT would make it powerful. People forget that Yuta is still a special grade too. Since they don't have to worry about large attacks like Hollow Purple, they have a decent chance ganging up on Sukuna so long as they play smart.
glad the jjk community in yt is this civilised unlike those ive seen else where (*cough* tiktok)

Yeah both guys are monsters in their Eras. ( Heian Era / Modern Era)

Yeah. I heavily doubt that the conversation with Nanami just happened for no reason. Gojo will probably come back even more broken, but not in the next few chapters. He has to regenerate more than half of his body afterall, which might be pretty hard on death’s door.
Anyone who thought Gojo would win this in the end hasn't been paying attention. The narrative necessitates that he lose.

i prefer gojo being sealed and/or incapacitated than seeing him do a yamamoto. hes liked a lot by the fandom.
id even prefer him not being unsealed at all in the first place. him being unsealed did NOTHING at all, no change whatsoever. it just forced sukuna transferring bodies from yuji to megumi. which i hated.
it wudv been better if yuji/sukuna vs kashimo and get 1 shot by kashimo via kamikazee attack. then sukuna force feeds to megumi in a fresh body and yuji recovers and powerup via near death experience. learns RCT and his godlike OP CT plus DE. then 1v1s megumi/sukuna like naruto vs sasuke. then stalemates and sukuna learns love and spirits away and leaves megumi but gave a power up like mastered 10S.
kenjaku appears and kills megumi and almost kills yuji since both are weakened but yuta and the others come in to save him but gets killed too. angel then gets mad and releases gojo from prison realm and did a rinne tensei technique to revive yuta and megumi. and kenjaku hijacks gojos body.
last fight will be gojo vs everyone. and last ditch effort gojo freezes kennys actions and yuji did soul swap and does an akaza move. gojo kenjaku sukuna and yuji dies. and everyone else survive

As far as I know - Yuji does have his own technique. He can swap souls with others, which is suspected to play a role in saving Megumi.

I always thought it was anime/manga law that you can’t be hurt by your own explosions unless it’s actual self-destruction 😂
I'm pretty sure it's something else entirely. Gojo says he survived it because it's his own cursed energy, which seems to imply that if you get hit by your own attack, it seemingly deals less damage than it would to someone else
@@abdullahmir2899 It does less damage and he is also shown the be recovering from it.
@@FoodStampHerolaughs in frieza
How is an offscreen death compared to the highest points of other shows lmao
Music makes this an even better video and it was already sick, nice one!
Chad Gege single handedly showed how to not Naruto a story. Man is a legend. He killed Uchiha with the rules he set in issue #1. Man is a genius!!!!

“MAHORAGA HELP ME”
Literally half and above of the anime only watchers now know that Gojo's dead Bcoz of the trend and popularity
Fr
Yes... like me
I've been trying to avoid any spoilers even the minor ones, and then the gojo pic flooded all over social media
Before the Sukuna vs Gojo fight even began:
•Sukuna built up his power back to full
•Then amped his already full power even more by eating various cursed items
•Then obtained a stronger body that is more fit to fight sorcerers
•Then added 10 Shadows to his arsenal
•Brought a cursed item just in case
Sukuna needed all of that prep time and multiple amps just to stand a fighting chance against base Gojo. Sukuna was not holding back at all, that’s bs.
During Sukuna vs Gojo:
•Gojo brought Sukuna to near death at least 7 times in 11 chapters
•Sukuna used the 10 shadows to adapt to void just to have a fighting chance at countering
•Domain Expansion is the pinnacle of sorcery, it has been established in the world lore.
Madara effect, you gotta somehow kill the character in order for plot to develop...
YOOOO THE KING IS BACK ❤❤❤
Indeed new video this Saturday or Sunday for some.
just letting you know at 1:01:34 the audio had a brief issue.
Oh okay.
@@kurodo9926 wdym by character assassination?
I get the complaints I just think they’re extremely overblown
Sukuna is like mahoraga able to learn and adapt to any attacks.
This is the simplest explanation for how Sukuna won.
It's honestly quite brilliant, Sukuna used Mahoraga as a teacher
Mahoraga is like a shield to him. While mahoraga was fighting sukuna was using his battle IQ
I don't have a problem with Gojo dying, i just think the way Gege went about it was contrived and damaging the ultimate narrative because how the hell are the other characters going to defeat Sukuna now, post-Gojo?
Ass pulls
Half an hour after you uploaded and i'm hyped, thx so much
The devil works hard but Diavolo works harder when making these videos and they're amazing
Bro fr got Yamamoto’d ☠️
Wondering if the other bro will get Madara'd or not 💀
Great fight can’t say I respect the way sukuna won but this is going to be best when animated
So in order for infinity to not get cut it would have to become the oposite of space and and time and “oblivion”?
Yo this fight is so good, really makes you think that you can’t judge a story when the chapters being released a week at a time, reading it now the way it was intended to be read, it really it one of the greatest anime brawls ever recorded! Hail gege and let this man cook!!!!
Side note, it’s crazy to think that sukuna just saw gojo on the battlefield in last weeks chapter! Is the goat really back? Or is Gege playing with our emotions.. can’t wait to find out in the chapter leaks later tonight!
