Thank you so much, things are not good for us financially at the moment and it has not stopped raining here for the last ten months, so the dryer breaking down was a disaster for us, but with your superb video our drier is up and running again. Thank you once again.😁
Don’t usually comment on videos but I’ll make an exception. Such a simple fix that actually worked🎉 right before Christmas as well so thank you for sharing this simple tip ☺️
Thanks Daniel,
Superb, thank you!!
I’ve had filters out and thoroughly cleaned, checked everything with the drawer, but knew nothing about that little red button hidden away😮
Worked a treat and saved me some serious cash, just a week after the washer completely broke too and needed replacing.
Thank you again 👏🏻
Hi Steve,
Good to hear you could save at least one.
I normally don't leave comments either, but I've just done It & it worked perfectly on a Beko dvx83100w
Took less than 10 minutes including the cleaning. So simple, but if you don't know, you don't know. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this tip & easy to follow video👍
Thanks Gareth! I’m glad to hear that!

Hey George, thank you so much for this PRO tip! I have a Beko DV7220X 7KG. The button inside is green (for anyone else with this model). Pressed it down until I heard the click. Dryer is now running nice & hot as it should. Thanks again Sir!

Amazing! I just fixed my dryer by following your video, thanks so much :) Turns out I wasn’t cleaning the bottom filter properly and LOADS of lint came out when I prodded inside with a small pokey thing instead of just running it under the tap, that’s what it must’ve tripped out the heater. Thanks again :)
I am glad to hear that.
Brilliant!..my dryer is now working perfectly!!!👍👍
Good to hear that! Thank you

We have a Beko dryer but when I remove this panel there is nothing like this underneath, and no red button 😢 I’ve located some wiring elsewhere but no red button there, just a black button. Any ideas where the reset button could be? Thanks
It seems your machine can’t be resetting. I think a new sensor needed, but there is more than one and need to test which is defective.
Thanks a bunch... it did work for me... 😊👍👍
Great job! 👏
This is Saveed my life thank you
Your welcome 😉
Thanks, it works, but why did this buton activate in the first place? I know for sure i didnt clean the filter and it was full
This button is a fuse to protect overheating the system. If you cleaned out the fluff from around the drum and wires you won’t have issue. But it’s really important to clean the filter and condenser regularly .
Fixed mine now thx buddy it did before and cost me 40 quid same thing the guy did but I did not see wht he done n said its on way to go use till its gone. Well it's OK now but I started it first smelled burn first few sec then I turned off waited and put washing in few clothes then started again no smell smoke it's OK but defo will keep an eye on it in case booom
Hi,
No worries, the deposited fluffy burnt down, this is happening if you didn’t use it for a while.
Worked thanks so much saved me a few bob 👍
Well done! I am happy to help.
brilliant, it works now. thanks
Well done
👌👌👌👍
Thanks mate!
That worked for me also! Thanks a lot!
Well done 😉 Thanks mate 👍
Thanks so much! Life saver!
Hi Ellis,
I’m so glad if I could help. Nice job!
Spot on, cheers 👍
You’re welcome
I have the same model, attempting to do this as I type. After pressing the button, I think I heard the click... but when turning it back on it seems to keep stopping and starting, is there a seperate issue for this? It would run for 30 seconds then stop, maybe stops for a minute then starts again and it keeps doing this.
Hi,
Just clarifying, it doesn’t heat up or doesn’t turn?
Hey, I also have a beko with the same problem. However the red button is not getting pressed. I tried putting a lot of force too but i am not getting the click sound. What could be the issue?
Hi,
There is something else wrong. Likely the heating element is broken.
Legend thankyou 👍
Thank you Matt!
Cheers indeed!!!
Thanks ☺️👍
My Beko tumble dryer wasn't heating and yep this works, just clicked the red button until it clicks into place and it now works perfect. Strange how the manual doesn't give this information.
Hi Alan,
Probably, services must have earn some money… I am glad to help

Hi,
What do you mean where can you find? You said it works, so I think you find it. Or you want to buy a new one? I get used to buy parts from ebay. Its name is heating element thermostat restarter
Thanks bro !
You’re welcome

Thank you so so so so much 😍😍😍
You're welcome!😉
The button doesn’t click for me. Does that mean it didn’t need a reset? It’s still cold
Hi Kerry,
If it didn’t click the issue is somewhere else. I presume heating element issue.
Will it break the warranty claim if ill open this cover?
If your dryer is still under warranty I would contact with customer service.

What if the red button is super stiff, and won’t seem to click when you push it?
Hi,
If you cannot push it, no click- in this case the problem something else.
I had the same problem.I pulled out the two sensors at the side of the red button and then put them back. The machine is now working one hour later.I hope this is the end of the problem.
@@georgesworkshop8600 what another problem could be?
Hi how do you know ifs it front sense or 2 at back mine seems to be overheating and cuts off and trips the electric never done that before...beko condenser dryer, thanks
Would that cut everything out lights etc so it would not be working
Hi,
I don’t understand what do you mean. That reset button is for reboot the heating element in these occasions. As I shown in the video this is working, if this was the problem.
The red button on mine is rock hard and wont press down? Any thoughts?
Hi John,
In this case your machine has different problem. Without diagnostic I can’t tell what is the problem.
If buttom not pressing and the dryer not heatting what shall i do?
This video shows one possible way to fix your machine. If this didn’t work on yours, that need a diagnosis to find out what is wrong. I can’t say anything surely. Could be sensor, heating element or something else.
The red button doesn’t go down seem to be pressed already… still not heating up… 🤦🏼♀️what’s the problem? Help
Hi,
If you cannot press down it’s in the right position,so not the sensor caused the problem. Could be: heating element broken or water pump is faulty. There are a couple things as possible reason why does not heat up your dryer.

Thank you very much for your reply!👍🏻
I have a Beko B5T4923IG 9Kg Heat Pump and can't find reset button? Not sure if is 1 of anyone could please assist at all thanks?
Hi Simon,
Heat pump is a completely different system, there is no reset button. That works as aircon.
Hi George, dcu7230s beko here , seller said it tripped his electric , i ran it, it didn't trip mine but it did seem to be VERY hot and it stopped, so as there are 2 thermostats , if i cant click the red one in , , is it likely its the one next to it, btw machine was so fluffed up im surprised it went at all, ive read if one stat goes then so does the other , but on fleabay there doesn't seem to be any generics for this model ?
Oh and has this machine a front thermostat too? thanks in advance
Hi James,
In different models has on different places and number thermostat. The house is warming up when the dryer heat as it’s metal. But this would be normal working order. But without inspection I cannot be 100% sure. If you are concerned ask an engineer.
Could the red button be anywhere else? Mine isn’t there 😭
If you cannot find on the top of your heating element, then it isn’t in your machine. Probably something else the issue.
Hi did you find the reset in the end? I took the back of mine but nothing?
What if the button does not push in or click???? 😢please help
Hi Kellie,
If there is no click, then something else is the problem. Max a sensor or the heating element.
Where would you recommend I get the new heater from please 😊
Brilliant! , worked a treat.😊😊
Where would you recommend I order replacement parts from ?? @everyone ??
Hi, you can buy on Ebay
Yeah I’ve looked on there I just thought I’d ask if you could recommend a supplier you might have used and was pleased with
My button doesn't click, it pulls out though 😬
Hi Nicole,
That is normal, but unfortunately in this case the problem is something else.
