I love Jamestown but I’m sorry I have to say a white person portraying a native American isn’t very accurate just saying if their trying to recreate the experience try to make it as authentic as possible.

There aren't that many Powhatan left. Their language has been lost. There are eight bands recognized by the state of VA. Many intermarried with the white settlers. From 1924 to the 1950s, only two races were recognized on any VA vital records, black and white, so the Natives were eliminated on paper, committing "paper genocide". Somewhere between 3000 and 3500 are registered today. I suppose Native Americans from other Eastern tribes could be hired to portray the Powhatan, but then that wouldn't be very authentic either, would it?
It doesn’t make any sense.. but then again, we are talking about perpetual culture vultures. Hey let me kill off your people, then I’m going to portray you in a museum for profit in which you receive no funds.. sick!
