Wouldn't it be useful to have Dual Visors? My mate has a Helme that has both a clear and Tinted Visor built-in. So in sunny weather, you have your tinted Visor and in Low Light or Night Riding, you use your Clear Visor. This would be really convenient!

It's worth saying that to get what is in the box on this video, you'd have to pay £555! For £350 you don't even get the pinlock. That makes this an expensive lid

I like ARAI, because behind, in the nape of the neck, the cervical has a slightly longer shell at the back, behind compared to other helmets, and it shelters better from the air at the rear than other helmets. in your opinion, does this RUROC helmet have a long covering shell similar to arai, or short?

Do those black visors have UV protection ? I never use them myself , but I recall when tinted visors first came out , they could damage your eyes , as the pupils opened up to deal with reduced light , but UV got through , guess they have that covered now ???? , on the visor , looks like the "latch" is a small magnet, if so , try a piece of duct tape on it , might reduce the force a bit .
Well.firstly thank you very much for this review as I've been looking at getting this exact helmet.However it did confirm that it's basically a summer helmet for summer riders and it's noisy due to that lack of chin wrap. I've had shoe lids for 25 years of 31 years of riding all year. Think I am just gonna buy another shoei as I can rely on them.yo be good at everything. Thanks for the review though👍

None of the Ruroc Atlas helmets have an internal sun visor, including the new 3.0. This is one of the big dissapointments for me. A "premium" priced helmet without many premium features.

One comment, at the risk of sounding like a nob - you mention national speed limit, but you were on a dual carriageway split by central reservation which means the speed limit is 70mph (unless otherwise stated)!! Don't want you to be missing out on an extra 10mph of fun!! ;)

@@AOK12121 Because I tried to order the 2.0. Ordered it as soon as it went live. My payment was accepted at 0001 GST. Then they said it wouldn't be shipping until the end of April. If anything thing this whole "launch" was a glorified preorder. Ruroc is a shit company that hides behind a mom and pop facade. They gave away helmets to "influencers" to talk up their product. I have unsubbed from all the Ruroc whores on UA-cam. From the actual reviews I wasn't the only one pissed. I spent almost $1000 and it took almost two weeks to get a responds from anyone at the company to get a refund. I had to file a claim with PayPal and they still didn't do anything. But the second I left a Trust Pilot review, they got on it quick. I had a little back and forth with them through email. Offering discout codes and free helmet visors. All I wanted was a helmet and they wanted me to wait three months? Fuck that. I ordered a Simpson and it was delivered the next day for less than half the price from a company with a long history of protecting their customers.
RuRoc sell an extended chin-curtain as an optional extra accessory (compatible with the 1.0 too).
I dont know how this channel hasnt blown up yet. Great vids dude.

The Shockwave and the pinlock visor are not included. They must be purchased at an additional charge. You do get the clear visor and the black visor.
When you open up the 3 position chin vent all the way, it clears up the visor like immediately w/o the pinlock.
