Of course there are a lot more epics and legendaries now vs back then, but the over 6,000 estimate is way off. More like 40K after watching that video.
As this game gets older, I do believe drop rates in gold key commanders should be increased. Im 4 years in and nobody uses these commanders in season of conquest, most players won't max any of these commanders after 2 or 3 years from gold keys
In a below post, I incorrectly said it would take 3 years to max Mejmed. Nope, with somewhat over a hundred per year, its closer to 6 years, (670 heads) per the drop rate mentioned below, which Chis did get with his restart account. This is a result of nerfed drop rates, among other things. 🙄🙄

Here's why ROK is messed up. Let's say on average you get 7 gold keys a day. That means it takes nearly a year to get 2355 gold keys. A year. Let's say you want Mejmed. You get, like Chis, 6x10 plus 42 gold heads That makes 102. Congratulations! Only two more YEARS now, to max Mejmed. Oh. I'm sure he'll really be useful then. And this is the main reason I quit ROK. I am no longer chasing commanders with $$, and if you don't? Good luck. Or, as Chis likes to say... GG, man.
Im a new player ive been crunching for Siyaj but apperently hes kinda mid. He is only good for archer rallys and unless your a whale im hearing this isnt very good and im a new player so im not a whale😂. Sad because I love the Maya they are so cool. Aperently the Maya are overall mid but its okay imma grind anyways.

They should make this exact game, but with a whole server of non-spending kingdoms. Only grind can take you to top1
