Great game to both teams. Feel sorry for cork. Must say a big winner to the referee on letting the game flow.. im a football man but id luv to see the same to happen to the football. Up the banner
Fair play well done clare having watched it many times cork were denied a definite free in the 2nd period of extra time clare went up and scored a point a two point swing but to be fair the referee could not keep up with this fast game a 46 yr young referee ,players younger were going down with cramp and definitley the Cork forward had his jersey pull at the very end even the clare back admitted it afterwards but in conclusion the real winner was the game of hurling played in a great spirit
Kilkenny would have won this All Ireland final handy enough if we took all our chances against Clare in the first half of the semi final. Cork haven't a hope of getting to the final next year because the round robin provincial format demands too much of all half decent teams. I am expecting a Limerick and Kilkenny in the 2025 All Ireland final, hopefully, with us both on 7 Munster's and 6 Leinster's in a row each, respectively. I do feel sorry for Cork people interested in going to knockout championship games because the GAA community is so strong around that great county that the demand for tickets to games is so great and like Dublin in gaelic football, many years trying to get access into Croke Park and rarely getting entry.
There won't be any Cork come back for 2025. Limerick will be stronger and without any expectations now that the five-in-a-row talk is over and Kilkenny have some fantastic Under20 All Ireland winning players coming through. Having said that Cork will likely be in the knockout stages next year.
@JayJay-dm8bn What I can't understand is how everyone is going on about Kilkenny, Cork, Limerick, Tipp, Galway and their underage and how they're going to come back and everything and win all-irelands and be contenders etc. in the coming years ....... and yet Clare are all-ireland champions and have a fantastic underage at the moment, but yet nobody is considering them hardly? Shur you never know, maybe the banner men could go on and be extremely competitive and win a good bit more the next few years
Finals need to go straight to a replay. If it was a draw at the end of extra time the players would barely be able to play in two weeks time after destroying themselves for 90 minutes. The game shouldn’t be decided on which team is less exhausted.
@@Castlelong333 if that game had been a draw the spectacle of it on its own would’ve been worth the price of the tickets. Tony Kelly’s display itself was nearly worth 100 euro to go see in person. A replay would’ve given a lot of people who couldn’t get their hands on tickets, as they were like gold dust, a chance to watch it. Not that I’m advocating for a replay from a tickets standpoint I was thinking more from the players point of view and as a spectacle. The quality of hurling drops significantly when players have been on the field for a hundred minutes.

Fair play lad!! From a very hungover Clare man 😅
Not sure how I stumbled across this - but very entertaining, what a crowd!

Clare won, but, honestly, Cork didn’t lose.
Cork will learn from this defeat and will be stronger and better Cork look to be a serious outfit for the next few years.
Did you have to make that comment when some of us haven’t seen the game yet?
How does that even make sense on the banner we won 💙💛

Tony Kelly’s goal was other worldly
What about rob Downeys goal

Go back to bed, KK 9 lives have ran out, 😂
Hahhahahah cork would have ran through Kilkenny like 21
Cork would have battered this current Kilkenny team but who knows, next year might be the year the cats come back
Kk weren't in the all Ireland final so they couldn't have won it.
Great game. To be fair, Cork were kind of robbed at the end, but should be able to use that as fuel next year.

No I don't agree, tickets are 100 euros, and Dublin the dump is a total rob , so let the game finish on the day if possible
