The biggest thing that I saw is that folks said Dana didn't deliver with the main event, because he talked about 300's main event and said it was going to blow everyone's socks off when they heard it, and it was going to be this massive crazy fight...
When Alex vs Jamahal was kind of the fight everyone was expecting was going to be next for Alex. But most folks thought the lineup of fights was top-tier, just underwhelmed by a very expected main event after Dana overhyped it.

people didn't think it was going to be bad as in the fights wouldn't deliver. It's the fact that it isn't what was promised. Outside of Max vs Justin, they were pretty predictable fights that weren't shocking anybody.
By all means, we thought Hill and Alex would deliver, but we also all knew they were bound to fight when Hill came back.

Didnt the numbers tell the real story? 300 didn't set any wild records. It was 3rd tied with a different UFC card. Dana acts like every fight was a KO or history making moments. Alex and Max were the stars of the show. Then they tired to make it seem like everyone was gonna put on a spectacular show because of the bonuses. Like there was a 11 on there skills meter.

I'm not on Twitter, I wasnt aware UFC 300 was criticized. Wtf, it was one of the best card ever. Halloway last sec KO and that Pereira "no" to herb dean followed by left hook KO he had been setting up the whole round with jabs to the body.. masterful. 300 was one hell of a card.

Dana is as petty as he is rich. The UFC 300 main event was supposed to surprise us, blow our socks off. The UFC 300 main event was the UFC 301 main event that they "stole" from UFC 301 to "save" UFC 300. Dana ran out of options and that was the only move they had. From top to bottom UFC 300 was the best UFC fight card ever but it still doesn't change the fact that the main event didn't blow our socks off and it was the main event from the 301 card. I don't know why Dana is so butt hurt. Dana should just go count his money and be happy.

Ortega has been around for such a long time! He made his UFC debut in 2014, literally 10 years ago. Him and Charles Oliveira are the only 2 fighters ever that seem to be getting better in what should be their twilight. Ortega has unreal durability tho, respect!

Big John was kind of on point with nobody really caring about the Chinese clash of the two females apart from the Chinese themselves. On MVP's youtube UFC 300 reaction video, he literally skipped the fight entirely.
I’ll admit I wasn’t too thrilled with 300 at first mostly due to nikal vs brundage and the co main. And I still stand by that as there were way better matchups that should have been on the main card. However as a whole, I shut right the hell up after the event with nearly nonstop entertainment. (That snoozer aljo/kattar makes it real hard to be an aljo fan)
The 300k bonus I believe played a huge part as well cause everyone was hungry and just going for it. Dana should definitely bring up the stakes in the future to hopefully get rid of some of these point fighters
