I feel like hill had ample time to adjust, but alex should never press a ref off. Herb is the third man and controls the action. He could of warned hill, asked alex etc. Alex doesn't put his hands on the ref and push them away. Hill had time to adjust. It was just sketchy.
Usually a fighter will get an illegal strike that the ref wont see and will be begging the ref to stop the action. Herb came in and stopped the action, and immediately Alex let him know he was ok and didnt need time. So Herb calls the fight back on. Why would the ref stop the action if the guy who got fouled doesnt need time? Its 100% fair play and a good call by Herb to not stop the fight when the foul was a non issue
