暫く停止するラリーカーとその儘走行するラリーカーの違いを見ていて俺也の推測での考察で言わせてみれば恐らく足回りによるミッションコントロール の切り替え通常ラリーカーはステージに併せてスタート時はFFかFRに設定して本格的なステージに併せて駆動方式を変える訳です「機械式か油圧式」に。
ですが其れには問題が有るラリーカーの形状の問題と車重の問題〜極端な例えで言えば(フォードの装備をシャコダの車両には搭載出来無いラリーカーの形状と車重による詰め込む場所が無いその上に車重バランスが崩れて加速性が失われ車重移動による挙動が変わるしエンジンパワーが失われる。
ショコダの車両では四駆にする際のセンターデフは搭載出来無い上の壊れ難い機械式より油圧式の(ディスカップリング)の油圧式が軽量で済む。
だが機能が発揮するには油圧の設定温度迄走行して高熱状態で走行し無いと行け無い一般車両での油圧自体がまるっきり違う油圧➡️油でめちゃめちゃ硬い油「例えると鏡餅の硬さ」でも火で温めるとその硬さが和らぐのと同じ。
恐らく一旦停止して其処迄走って温められた温度で駆動形式を変更するにはその速度では変えられる温度では無いから一旦止まってでの変更。そうし無いと四輪駆動ではタイヤの摩耗が激しいからですラリータイヤ故にコンパウンドが柔らかい故に徐行での走行を維持して走行する事でタイヤの摩耗を減らして居る
