With the tarmac done fully upto moyale, ten years ago from nairobi to moyale one would take three days poor roads, insecurity, limited transportation (only trucks), now Nairobi to isiolo 5hrs, isiolo to marsabit 3hrs, marsabit to moyale 3hrs total roughly 11hrs, best road trip good sceneries

For your info marsabit has a cooler climate than isiolo thanks to Mount marsabit and marsabit forest which looks like the abadares
