Got mine today and was worried as previous reviews suggested that Fotodiox ND Throttle was introducing lots of ghosting. Nothing like this with this adapter. Checked on Sony A7RII in still mode. Images on Canon 24-105 and Samyang 14 @ f2.8 as sharp at full resolution stills, as without any filter (Metabones IV). Slight colour difference as you've mentioned, but not an issue, as you will either grade your footage or process raw files. Indispensable for film work!
Have you done any tests for glare? I wonder how it fares when shooting a subject that is backlit or filming light in general. Thanks for doing this video!
does this have any trouble with bad connections or aperture loss, freezing while changing modes?, i dont need autofocus.. and whats the max nd i can use without losing quality? thanks for the response
Hi, I bought the adaptor, i tried with a sony a6300 and a canon 50 mm 1.8, and just can´t use the autofocus, the lens try to focus and never stop, and can´t take the picture. ¿Do you know why?
Ale Vega I could not get it to work also, as i said in the video. Although I think that there is not one single adaptor that has usable autofocus. Too bad 😕 for good autofocus you will need to use native lenses.
I've al ready tried that, but even with the manually focus it does't focus. I bought the Vizelex ND Throttle NDTHRTL-EOS-NEX and I have a 50mm and a 40mm and it doesn't work with that lenses
@@AnalogikaProductionHouse On their website it clearly says "Auto Focus can be Slow or even not function with varied model lenses and even different lenses of same model. Not all Canon compatible lenses work equally."

Hello, I bought the adaptor and I have a sony a7sii I tried my 50mm canon lenses on this but it doesn't focus. I don't know what to do : (((
Amanda Imm As I said in the video, I also couldn't get the autofocus to work. So I guess we have to do it manually 😋

haha i like
what it needs is ND zero. that way you don't have to take it off.
I don't believe that a Variable ND 0 exists.
Analogika Production House shucks.
Thats to point why I prefere classic variable ND + step up rings for smaller lenses. :)
