Why dont you put Firefly in toothpick slot, and put toothpick under the saw ? Its not as critical if you lose the toothpick...just a thought thats all 👍
You can purchase the fire ant ferro rod,but it comes in a pack of 3,or if you can find one of those novelty stores that sells giant bic lighters, they also contain a very long flint/ferro rod.
Firefly made by Tortoisegear. Designed to replace the toothpick. Two lengths available depending on which size of SAK. Placing it under the saw as shown here seems like a neat hack. You can also use the back edge of the saw to scrape the ferro rod as well as the wire stripper slot demonstrated. They have some demo videos here on YT.
It is a fireant mini fire steel with waxed spiral of tinder sometimes it will get protected with heatshrink as an extra hack to Protect the wax from rubbing off

It is more safety under the saw
Use the spine of the wood saw blade on your firefly/ferro rod, you'll get a shower of sparks from it ✨🔥
