- Mob wives are not the tip of the iceberg, but they are close to it. I analyzed and checked on you for input on the worst perceived trends so far. Red tights, Margiela Mary Jane’s, mesh sandals, boat shoes and so much more that we see a lot on the net, so much that we’re already fed up with it and just want to go back to turtlenecks and pants.

I agree with your take on the micro mini shorts but I feel like it’s a trend / silhouette made for thin bodies only and I feel like that’s the downfall of most high fashion / runway silhouettes.
I really love the little fuzzy microphone pin, it looks intentional, like a brooch. I didn’t realize it was a microphone until well into the video
Skinny jeans are so out of fashion that they're back! I'm a 40 y.o. undergard student and at uni I can spot who's my age from a mile away by their skinny jean 😂
There is so much (dark) humour behind the critique in most Tuba videos that you know although it’s bordering on harsh truths it comes from a place of acceptance of personal style. Another super articulated video filled with new ideas 👏🏼

i 100% agree with what you said ab the variety of skinny jeans. I really feel a difference when i have worn slim straight leg skinny jeans as opposed to the ones that are closer to leggings material/fit.
i've never agreed with a video more, i was yelling "YES OF COURSE" with every rating. so real with the controversial ratings like wedges and undies

I Love the arguments on what determines if a piece is nice or not: _ I loved on the runaway when it was shown by expensive brands. But by the minute cheaper brands started to produce them too, I couldn’t stand it anymore.
So it’s not about beauty or taste, it’s about status. We really hate poor people, don’t we? Lol
Hmmm. I'm not sure. It's like discussing bread and saying "I like sourdough, but the toast bread thing that comes pre-sliced tastes awful to me". I get your point, but if we go in this direction then what you're basically saying is "quality doesn't matter" while it does.
But "what's classy when you're rich and trashy when you're poor" bias obviously exists
For me, I don’t hate poor people- I hate cheap fabric and poor construction. Cheap knock-offs just look bad and when they are everywhere it can cause people to start hating the whole style.
In fact, a lot of rich people dress pretty badly despite wearing higher quality clothes. Remember those Loewe logo jeans and t-shirts? So awful- yet only worn by rich (or at least upper middle class) people. I’ve seen so many of those t-shirts around and not once have they looked good.
I lived the 2000s and I can say that I don't miss the skinny jeans, low-rise, boat shoes, ballerina, capri, micro shorts, tank tops... those bags with charms?? wearing dress on top of jeans??? no please nooo. these were never cool or flattering. We were doing so well with the 90s trends
I’ll keep skinny jeans, but otherwise yes.
It has been interesting to see how I still dislike the trends I originally disliked when they first came around in my youth even though I hoped I had broadened my tastes since then. Ah well!
I won't personally wear micro shorts due to body size, but I always enjoy them styled on others. 😊
I love your videos! I used to live on Mainland America (Detroit and Chicago) and trends and fashion were so important and fun for me, but I moved to Hawaii years ago and I miss out on all of the fun new looks. Your videos are a perfect blend of info and comedy to me. Aloha!

I discovered your channel last year and have been enjoying it.
Lately, I just came across your reaction video on TikTok trend prediction 2 yr ago. You disagreed with many of them, but I saw some trends had their moments in the past 2 years, so I found this very interesting and wondered why.
Perhaps some of them always belong to your S or A tiers, so you might have a consistent opinion in that case.
Or perhaps the trends discussed there often refer to runway trends which live in a different timeline/pace from TT trends/real-life trends.
Or those "micro" trends are so niche that many people don't get a chance to know them as "trends"?

Boat shoes were extremely trendy when I was in high school. Everyone in school wore Birkenstocks, boat shoes, or Uggs depending on the season.

Bought a pair of Margiela Mary Jane tabi on sale a few years before the tabis and mary janes became a trend. Absolutely beautiful shoes that I'll continue to wear even when they're no longer on trend. No regrets. I also own a pair of Yohji lug sole mary janes that are near identical to the ones in the photo and they're a wardrobe staple. Agree with the ranking on the other trends though.
Capris is the crime against everything beautiful still left in this world. Even Margiela can't make them good.

As a hip hop head I absolutely love rocking my wheats and even got the biggie versaces to go w them. However now theyre so oversaturated that they hit more like a AF1s or a panda dunk . It sucks. im rocking Polo cookie boots till this wave dies down..

Yes yes i agree with most of these ratings, I am not as fashion forward as you but this shows me that i do have some fashion sense because i am agreeing with you. If that makes sense haha. The mesh shoes no no no I feel they are too child like and when I see them styled with certain outfits my head is saying so many other choices could have worked so much better. Great vlog. Keep well.
If ya gonna go see-through in a shoe, go for crazy pvc or lucite heels or such - not MESH. They gonna be tired in 2 seconds. Mesh = meh

Alaia’s flats are extremely comfortable and if you live in a warm climate you can enjoy them easily all summer long.

I kind of feel attacked by red thights not being in F, but also I've been wearing them sinds 2011 when I was a kid and coloured thights are a big part of my personal style. So I definetly wil keep wearing them (and all the other colours I have).

I actually really love ballerina flats. Are they comfortable? No. Do they make me walk weird? Absolutely yes. But I love wearing my bright red ballerina flats with white ankle socks. Or a pair of leg warmers. Or pantyhose. I think boldly colored ballerina flats are an excellent way to pull any outfit together without being too garish. But NEVER, EVER barefoot. No barefoot. Yuck. Never giving them bad boys up.
