Memoeires, HS in the 80s at Fitzgeralds , this was the loudest fucking show I have ever been too. ears ringing 2 days later. Ahh the privileged of youth.
I do too, David! I saw them Live I believe in 1996 & they were awesome! I love both of their albums ‘Grave Dancers Union’ & ‘Let Your Dim Light Shine’! Those are actually the only albums I’ve heard from them. Do you know any other good albums and/or songs by them?
...SONG OF THE DAY!!!
These guys should have gone further than they did,in my opinion they were way better than Green Day, Offspring,Rancid and Marylyn Manson. It was this band along with Alice in chains,Pearl Jam,Nirvana,Gin Blossoms,White Zombie,L7 and Pantera that i liked when all the newer bands came out during that change in the gaurd in the early 1990's happened.
The bass line is so chaotic yet so appropriate! Love this song
Best song of their career up to this point. Dave's mastery of music and devilishly clever lyrics make Soul Asylum one of the best bands ever

They had their moment, and it was a big moment...even if it was fleeting. At least they did shine for 3 or 4 years. ❤🎸
The phone hasn’t rang for so long….
Domo arigato
Who's the drummer?
@@muralidharanj2857 that's Dan Murphy on guitar.
And the drummer in the video is Sterling Campbell.
Soul Asylum - great! However this was the beginning of the whiny singers in rock bands; it got progressively worse thru the 90s and early 2000s
