A run heavy Air Raid may be an evolutionary step up to classical Air Raid. Word is, Air Raid tends to eat its own. Its own defense, that is. People imply it brainwashes its own defense in practice ingraining hopelessness as a mindset. It probably exhausts the hell out of them too. This Commander Defense is going to have to be deep and play everybody. Good thing they have a playoff caliber staff coming in. But like the Eagles, Cardinals, and the USC Trojans, the potential for sliding the second half of the season due to an exhausted and demoralized defense exists.
The Anthony Lynn hire really caught my attention...something tells me he will voice the exact needs you are speaking about the Air Raid. Also, with the team taking a firm step towards analytics, let's hope issues like a gassed-out defense are squelched and non-existent. Never understood why that franchise wouldn't move forward into Next-Gen analysis and processes...when Shanny came in 2010 they didn't even have an inside practice facility. SMFH

Al Harris would be big. because our secondary has been bad for years lol
Part of that was Ron place a Highschool asst. coach as our CB coach. He had no business getting highered at the NFL level.
