Man those stripers were super nice!! the cold stinks but as long as the water is not frozen I say go out and go fishing! we are going to get another real blast of cold here also for a few days! No good heck my spots are solid ice now! 😢
Don’t know if you have heard about this a buddy of mine Carl Noe puts on what he calls NOE Outdoors Fishing Expo. It’s at the Cartersville Convention Center on Hwy 20 just off Interstate 75. He puts on a good show. He has several local vendors, tournament and a lot of free stuff and sometimes some pretty good drawings for fishing poles and lures. Thought you’d might be interested if you didn’t already know. Love the video’s. At least you’re catching something.
HAPPY NEW YEAR MY BROTHER, follow the birds huh, I’ve also picked up on that, the BIRDS will let you know when baitfish are around, and where’s there baitfish, there’s fish around, what size weight were you using on your swimbait, enjoyed it Dana 🎣
@ Good morning Dana, I have a 1/8oz on my jig/fluke combo that I WILL be using at the first tournament of the year in March, THSNKS DANA for all YOU do 🎣
Dana really enjoy your hard work getting this out to us.Thank you 🎣
I appreciate that, thanks for watching!
Nice fish tough weather i can't handle that wind and the cold enjoy the video thanks
The wind has been terrible lately. It is ice cold. Next week is supposed to be even colder, so the fishing will probably be really slow.
Good talking to this morning, Dana. Tough fishing for sure.
I hope you did better than I did. I'm sure I will see you out there again.
Beauty striper. Stay safe in those cold temps
Thanks! I try to!
Thanks for bearing the elements. Not bad for a tough day. You’re a trooper!
I appreciate it!
Wow 😮 Nice one !
Thanks 😁 Those fish made my day!
Nice stripers
Thanks!
Those were some nice stripers, I hope you got warmed up after that cold wind!
The cold wind hasn't stopped all winter. It is unusually cold this winter.
Too cold out there, Dana. Wait for a warm up. As good as your videos are, we can wait for the next one to come out.
I agree, it is too cold - but I would be out there whether I was making videos or not. It gives me something to do.
Dang it's the same temp here in Wisconsin. I'm a weenie! I could never handle it. Be safe 😊
For Georgia, this has been a brutal winter so far. Next week we are not supposed to get above freezing for 4 days in a row, which rarely happens.

We have the same cold blast coming - I'm not looking forward to it. Thanks for watching!

When does he do the expo?
I have seen it advertised somewhere. That is a long drive for me, but maybe I'll make it someday. Thanks for watching!

Bundle up sir. Even colder weather on the way for your next episode. Nebraska weather on the way.
Yes, I'm not looking forward to it. I don't mind the cold, but this winter has been way colder than normal.
Love the videos. Have been trying to figure out Lanier and your channel has been a huge help. What do you use to color the tails of those swim baits?
Thanks! I use either the Zoom marker or the Spike It marker. The Spike it's are the best.

Thanks Chauncey! I believe I was using a 1/8 oz jig head.

@@chaunceydavis5290 March is a good month to fish. I'm looking forward to some stable weather and a little bit of a warming trend, if it ever happens.
Could you drop a spoon to the deep ones would they bit it
Yes, I drop a jigging spoon on them occasionally. I have better results with my hair jig, so I don't use a spoon much these days.
man, those stripers are fun to catch ... which Helix version you got there?
My fish finders are the first version Helix, over ten years old. I need to upgrade at some point.
I don't know how you do it, I'm not a fan of cold weather. It's been pretty cold here.
This has been a really cold winter for us so far. Down into the teens and twenties at night, which doesn't happen often here in Georgia.
Yea for the gulls!you caught some big stripers now go home and get warm!
My house pretty much stays cold too.
Would like to see you wear a life jacket hard getting back in the boat this time of year very cold water stay safe
I know I should - I never remember to put one on.
