What about the plastic hose leaching chemicals and the plastic water tank. Bet it has aluminum too in contact with water like most coffee makers. I found a better way to brew fresh ground bean coffee a cup at a time with no machine.
Descaling doesnt have anything to do with mold growing inside of it

Vinegar kills rust why not build up?
And if you live in Florida, you will find roach eggs in the water tank and well.....use your imagination
