- Its been 30 years now since Katia and Maurice Krafft died in a pyroclastic flow on Mount Unzen, in Japan, on June 3, 1991.
They were French Volcanologists who were known for being pioneers in filming, photographing and recording volcanoes. They would often get dangerously close to these fantastic eruptions, collecting amazing footage and photos over the years.
This video is a tribute to them to remember their works and who they were as people. - Розваги
This is definitely one of the best videos I've ever seen in my life. Amazing footage of the crazy couple and great editing from you my friend. Rest in peace Katia and Maurice Krafft.
Thank you very much. Since this was more of a special video to create, I took more time making it.
Эпично однако! Здорово!
If there was a series made about their research adventure this video would be the opening credits.
there's a movie out now
@@weirdafters4007 yeah buddy, fire of love waiting for streaming release.

Well you were close lol
This is a great editing job! Well done!! I normally don't like this kind of epic style of metal, but it fits incredible well the power of the visual topic. Bittersweet ending with both walking towards the lava.
Thank you, editing videos can be a lot of work but fun and rewarding. When I make a video, I usually listen to a song first and then put a picture to it that fits the song. For this video, the original song has lyrics that would give this video a way different feel from what I was wanting but without the lyrics, the music is perfect. I am studying geology and one day hope to work with volcanoes. I grew up watching and reading videos on volcanoes which included the Kraffts. The Kraffts inspire me and their works. I hope to one day experience and film volcanos up-close, to learn and teach others like they had.
@@eternalaeon1940 when is your 5th upload?
@@elenareyes3323 I have ideas but I cant tell you when, I've been to busy lately with others things in my life.
@@eternalaeon1940 Thanks for explaining your creative process! It really paid off! BTW, I came across your video after seeing Herzog's volcano documentary, and learning in it about the Kraffts. Good luck in your career! Don't get too close as your heroes did :)
What song is in the background of this?
The song is an instrumental version of "The Last Crusade" by Mono Inc. Never excepted to see you, a big youtuber comment on my channel. I've seen a few of your videos before. Thanks for watching. This is a secondary channel I made to have fun with from my main UA-cam channel.
