@jonnob I'm just like, how many drones from DJI can we all afford? The more the better LOL The Mavic 3 Pro, on the wish list. The Avata 2, planning on getting soon, to go with my Mini 4 Pro. But the dream drone is the Inspire 3. I hope you're getting major mileage out of all of your drones. I totally agree, these two are for two totally different purposes. One project job could do very nicely with both

You might want to check out the Inspire 3, that might be the one you're thinking. AND, on the DJI website, now they even have charging stations, mini generators basically. Depends on what you are needing. If you need the free cam look of the FPV then thats your obvious choice, but if I am looking for something more cinematic then 9 times out of 10 I will pick the Mavic unless I am wanting a specific feel for the shot.

Depends on what kind of film you are making. Currently I only have the Air 3 as my first own drone as it fits better for most kinds of films. But I am training with my FPC RC 3 controller already and I will buy something like an AVATA 2 or maybe even an FPV 2 soon, once my Air 3 has earned me enough money.
Love both these drones. Each with massively differing pov’s….. the Avata being a a massive upgrade on the original, but the lens system on the pro 3 is just beyond words 😍
My genuine doubt, cant a single drone like avata do both the jobs. Like both camera mode and fpv mode on a single drone. I think its just a software barrier which can be easily dealt with in near future. In my opinion, in coming years ppl will use a single drone for both purposes.
Pick normal drone. Because thats you want mostly . Avata 2 won’t stay still . Your pictures willl be all tilted. Plus all the awesome shots were made using rc controller. Motion controller has its limits.

Why do we need so many controllers? DJI IS NOT being environmentally friendly. The controller 3 should be compatible with others drones like the Mini 4 and Air 3 Or the RC 2 compatible with the Avata 2. This seems so logical why hasn't DJI done this? It's all O4 so it should just be a software update.

Went with the Air 3 for work but the Avata is on the must have list and it’s obvious why! Excellent flying on the avata and nice footie on the pro!
You'd get the cleanest edit if you compare both images…one of a fav and one of a cinema drone👍
Avata can be used for those slow shots as well with minimal loss in quality. Albeit with lesser flight time

One is a rolls Royce the other is an svj lambo great cars for different purposes.
