Thanks for the video! It's just simple and easy to understand. I recently updated my S46C laptop because it was running slow. I installed 2 x 4 GB RAM modules, as recommended by ASUS tech support. However, I discovered it originally came with 2 GB and 4 GB modules. I’ve noticed the laptop is running a bit faster. Do you have any other tips for improving its performance? I plan to install an SSD with a better cache and update the BIOS version. After reassembling the laptop, I found the fan quieter after the RAM change but it seems to be running hotter than before. Is this normal after a RAM upgrade? Additionally, I encountered an issue with the touchpad. The left-click area is lower than before, and I couldn’t figure out how to reposition it correctly. Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks!

Regarding your question, I would highly recommend upgrading the HDD to an SSD, and you will see a dramatic performance boost. ua-cam.com/video/JwW7HjzsXjY/v-deo.html Adding RAM may cause the CPU to heat up more. Regarding the trackpad, I will make a short video later on. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
🫠Regarding your question, it can take single slot DDR3 but if you going two slot then get DDR3L , the L stands for low voltage. we recommend that you have L version on both slots. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
What is the maximum RAM capacity on this notebook's motherboard? The only site I could find that mentioned was saying that 8GB is the maximum supported, but you're talking about being able to install 2x8GB modules in it. Is it possible to do this on this notebook or is 8GB the actual max capacity for its RAM?
🫠Regarding your question, check the max ram capacity that it can handle here: ua-cam.com/video/tKEJTkVth4Q/v-deo.html if it is 16gb the get 2x8gb , we do upgrade this laptops to 16gb for our clients, so depending on your cpu model, so check the link to make sure. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
