My family all moved to side chargers from BCA for our hog hunting setups. Side charger is a must for racking and chambering a round when you have a huge night vision scope at the rear of the upper. Once you use one you’ll be hook and will never look back! ❤
I like and I mean I really LIKE the side charger ar15! Most of mine have the side charging handle. I like them! Easy to mount scopes and easy handling of the charger.
Have a side charger and a conventional from Bear Creek. Love there stuff❤❤.
I have several Bear Creek side chargers, love them. BUT my overall choice (whenever it as available) is the dual charger. Side charge and rear charge makes for the best platform.
I am a fan of the side charging handle. My first BC upper is a .300 dual charging upper. I'm going to remove the rear and plug it when I get a suppressor.
BCA, here are some marketing 101 tips. If you are showcasing features of a gun, freaking show the features in action - don't leave it up to the consumer to imagine the benefit.
i.e:
Put a larger optic on the gun when showcasing it's easy to operate the bolt with a large optic
Actually put a damn suppressor on the gun and shoot 300 blackout with it to show gas redirection

very interesting tip about the gas discharge at the rear when suppressed. up until that moment, i just thought the side charging gimmick was an experiment for the sake of experimenting. this changes a lot.
Still plenty of gas unfortunately. I still buy the side chargers. Run a adj gas block, turn gas off and make it a straight pull bolt action. No gas then.

@BearCreek Arsenal why not do a left side charge, with right eject, as a standard??? so as to not have to do that cross under, or over the top charging as the AK does???

I have a ambidextrous one from them, not sure if they still make it. You can unscrew the charging handle a swap it from side to side.

Yep, left side charging non reciprocating is nice though. That is definitely not BCA though
I was considering buying the bca side charging 762 but i was thrown off because everyone says ill need to get a new extractor, firing pin and eventually the whole bolt. If you could fix those issues thatd be lovely. I love the idea of a side charging 762 ar. (But they all dumby expensive)
It’s not that the other companies are so expensive, it’s just BCA is cheap. You get what you pay for.
Since you have a proprietary bolt carrier to accommodate the side charger, please make a gas adjustment in the bolt.
Their first Gen side charging handle sucked ass came loose all the time blue , red or any color lock would not hold. Ordered a aftermarket never have trouble with it
Ordered an aftermarket what? I also have a Gen 1 that the handle flies off of.

You probably don't even shoot enough to bitch my rifles from this company work flawlessly even my 7.62x39 you can't have budget friendly guns and God like quality control what matters is will they help you when it breaks I'd rather call up a small American grass roots company than Smith and Wesson and have to deal with endless deadends wait times empty promises and then being told it's your fault bear creek delivers what they advertise and then some

@@phoneuser3569 like what a slightly crooked handguard or an honest mistake like they sent the wrong gun you guys act like this company makes ras47's to blow up in people's hands calm down get some tools go out fix the issue with the gun and move along you will deal with the same issues if not worse with every single company know to man until the end of time

I definitely agree. BCA sells a cheap product.
PSA sells inexpensive products, there’s a big difference. You won the lottery if you get a BCA upper that will shoot 500 rounds without a problem.

I’m pretty upset with you guys. I ordered a 24 inch upper and the same day you shipped it , it got damaged/ destroyed in shipping with FEDEX. Now you guys are making me wait 14 days for FedEx to complete their investigation, I haven’t even received the upper it didn’t even leave North Carolina and fed ex already confirmed it will not be sent to me either sent back to you guys or they will refund you if it was totally lost. I am not waiting two weeks on top of the week and the half I’ve already waited and I still have not received Anythjng I’ve paid for. No other company has customer service this poor. All I’m asking is for a refund or for you guys to send me a different upper while you wait for your own investigation to go through. It’s not my responsibility you guys didn’t pack it right in shipping. Again I haven’t even gotten it and I will not get this upper yet you are asking me to wait a month instead of making this right and just sending me another

You need to mill a swinging dust cover into the uppers or maybe hinged like the Sig
I love my side charging 308 it works so much better than an m1a for me and i have never had one single issue with the three BCA uppers i have including my 308 kudos to ALL the hard workers at BCA for my cool products and yes i have bought more than just uppers !!! 🇺🇸🪖👍🏻👍🏻
