Nothing like Texas High School Football in the playoffs. In most recent years DFW & Houston along with East Texas have been dominating but there are some sleeping giants in the centex region of Austin & south region of San Antonio & the Coastal Bend. Best of luck to Vandergrift going forward.
Steele wins this game if they don’t spot Vandergrift 20 points off bad special teams play. Their regular snapper was missed greatly! Also Steeles coaches bailed Vandergrift out trying to run the dang ball on Steeles second to last drive where Steele could have taken the lead. The BETTER coached team won, not the more talented team. Steele had way more athleticism and speed and it was evident. Unfortunately those mistakes happened and Vandergrift capitalized on every single one.
🤦🏽♂️that's on the coaches with that 4th and 6 play call in the fourth...you gotta punt that and give your defense a chance with about 3:11 secs left that's enough time to get a stop if the field is flipped
