K Rool being in low tier does NOT make sense to me actually
Recovery and Weight puts him there. But for Armor and how almost unkillable he is, I agree.
The best was to describe him is that he plays like a boss battle; if you know his patterns he can end up being predictable in a way you can fight. Unfortunately I experience this a lot as a K. Rool main; so combos are painful…
Nah, K. Rool is pretty awful.
-Some of the worst mobility in the game
-Zoning game is fairly shallow and easy to punish
-Bad disadvantage and anti-airs and poor out of shield options, very vulnerable to just being approached from above since his armor only covers his body.
-Aside from Nair, his aerials are insanely laggy and very unsafe
-Armor and Crown, two of his strongest tools, have insanely detrimental drawbacks that make him feel undertuned.
He struggles at higher levels in every aspect of the game and he relies heavily on gimmicks to compete, and so far as heavyweight zoners go he's completely outclassed by Snake and ROB.
@@platonismisoop2152Just play hyper aggressive on stage, Neutral B can kill decently well especially after the canon ball gets sucked back up and shot at an angle.
@@ProGamer-ev3cp ok. I don't disagree, and I play a lot of K. Rool myself. I'm just saying that he's a deeply flawed character that's very exploitable and that his tier placement makes sense.
Also you probably shouldn't be relying on Neutral B for kills, it's slow and is pretty easy to punish if you're careless with it. It can be good for ledge trapping and sometimes for creating pressure while approaching but you should be careful about when you throw it out.

They didn't even used to be, the only reason they are so low on the tier list is because they have terrible matchups against a lot of the DLC fighters.
Fun fact: Not sure if you can still do it, but if you go to a ledge and catch your opponent in Netrual A, you can do a whole Lotta damage

Smash ultimate has no bad characters. Even the bottom of the barrel have some insanely powerful tools that can make them feel broken if used well enough

Mac especially has some of if not the best tilts and smash attacks in the game and can make him an extraordinarily powerful character against a lot of lower or mid level players
@@62049 He doesn't have the best tilts or smashes. Even if he did he is still terrible everywhere else. His downsides alone completely kill his viability, not having good aerials is terrible in a game with heavy air game.

Tiers are dumb. And they're based off tournament which means it's based on the training stage style of form and similar.
It's a game about reading your opponent... any character is capable. But we remove all variables of the real game and leave a flat line and a place to fall.

Plant is such an underrated character. He's only got one clip out of the whole video. It's kinda sad imo, he's pretty fun to play and the way a good Plant player tricks their opponent into going right into poison breath or into the down b is wonderful. Also killing offstage with the ptooie or by kissing your opponent with Plant's back air is funny as hell.
