Dan another great Video. Great news on you with the Northwoods Limited Edition Mixed Mini Firewood. I am Happy you Purchased the Kindlet Mini Firewood Processor. Myself I am now cutting Rounds putting in Garage and Splitting when I can to keep a good Supply of Firewood going. Finally the Wind is going away, we had 3days of Below Zero Wind Chills. Stay Safe, and Warm. Ron from the Woodyard in Upstate NY.
That's awesome! You're going to love it...those flames will really make for a special birthday AND as a bonus I threw in a little something extra! Happy Birthday! 😀👍🍻
Killer selection, ( D ). Great for an exotic experance on date night. Flames of the Northwoods, with a touch of Aurora Borealis, Yeah, You're Gonna Get Lucky... Stay cool Brother, Peace... We got 4'' last night with 2'' on the way☃🌨❄
Professional marketing, packaging, graphic design, e-commerce, and quality. You can't possibly say you are a hobbyist anymore. You have exceeded just about every other firewood business I've seen around my area and on youtube. Love seeing all this progression! BTW, this is an awesome idea! You should sell birch as "designer wood", it's the louis vuitton of firewood haha. $1,000 a face cord! 🤣
Thank you! I've always been a believer in attention to detail and trying new and different things. I've really enjoyed the journey of bringing this idea to life and adding it into the mini firewood mix. Appreciate your comment!
You have a great business plan going, the mini firewood is becoming a lot more popular in recent months. Have you tried adding bags to the roadside stand or are you phasing that out?
Having fun is the key component for sure! I don't have or use a gimbal, just my phone on tripod...I extend the tripod a bit so it's not right in my face when I hold it though.
Do you have the "diffuser" top for any of those tabletop pits? A real game changer. We have had a Solostove ground model since they came out... probly burned a couple cords through it. Love it BUT trouble with all the smokeless pits is the heat goes straight up and sitting around it can't feel it. The diffuser on top fixes that. Spreads that heat down to your feet. Probly make them for the tabletop models too. Good idea with the Northwoods wood!
Some other "limited edition" ideas: fruit trees ... Apple, pear, cherry, osage You dont see THAT every day: Sassafrass, mulberry, osage, tulip, boxelder, hornbeam

Thanks...I've only put out on the stand when requested by a customer, will probably add it out there in the Spring.
Looks like you're still having fun doing it Dan... that's what counts! Do you use a gimbal for your hand held videos like this?
Having fun is the key component for sure! I don't have or use a gimbal, just my phone on tripod...I extend the tripod a bit so it's not right in my face when I hold it though.

I have seen those for the table top fire pit, haven't gotten one yet just not sure how much it would limit the nice high flowing flames...lol
Great job Dan. Here in MAINE many people like to use Apple wood for smoking and fire pits.
Thanks! Apple is tough to come by around here unfortunately....well at least to get it for free...lol
Dan,well I guess you went from a small arena stage to a big arena stage congratulations on your purchase of the Kinlet 200 for faster production 👍😮😊❤
Thanks! I think I'll always think of myself as the small arena stage kind of guy...hahahaha

Are hickory and walnut native or common in the northwoods?
Not sure about everywhere, but where I grew up they are.
Pine gets a bad wrap.
Now work on getting a small sea-can and make a nice kiln.
I still can't believe how the deer will surround you - you must not hunt in the area. Good luck with the mini firewood. Stay safe.
Thanks! There's no hunting allowed due to how close I am to city limits.
Cool idea. Can I come deer hunting? lol
Thanks! Unfortunately I'm too close to the city limits and no hunting is allowed...as you can probably tell...lol
@Back40Firewood you can definitely tell those are city deer

I might look into doing something like that for the 'cooking' wood...but then I gotta find more Hickory..hahaha
Sycamore spruce. Ash has a sweet smell, locust has a weird smell
