    We did this in march with -12*C. It was awesome, just the coming out of the warm water, getting dry and putting clothes on was so cold, we literally screamed 😅… but we will never forget that awesome experience.

    Love this hike! We stayed til 10pm last Wednesday and were blessed with the Northern Lights while soaking in the river. We can die now!

    Love this! We did it in June 2021 at 2am and had the hike to ourselves. Only car in the parking lot. Just too bad it was raining and the water wasn’t as warm as I was wanting to strip down and jump in:). Love your videos….you’re the reason we did Iceland:)

    I guess when you were filming this, we were in Iceland.
    Yes, very rare for Iceland to be this sunny. The days that we were in Snaefellsnes, the weather was A-maaaaaZING!!!! We even got to see the Northern lights every evening. And on the way to Snsefellsnes, we did stop by at the hot spring in Hvammsvik. Again, weather was sunny and nice. Let me tell you, the soup was the best I ever tasted.
    Thank you for all the tips and sharing your journey with us. I will continue to watch your channel because I miss Iceland very much. My husband and I, we travel extensively , and we generally love Scandinavia countries, and Iceland holds a special place in my heart.❤️ And we are sure to come back.

    This was one of my favorite hikes in Iceland!! Just the changing out of my wet swimsuit behind a towel was weird but everyone else did it so it was fine. Better than having to hike back down in a wet swimsuit.

    Hi. Love the videos! I've visited Reykjavik once with friends and would love to come back with my teen children. I don't know if you know.. Or could find out... But we loved the burgers in Lebowskis in Reykjavik😂, are children allowed in there or bars in general? They'd love the food! 😂

    We tried to find this place, that even the hotel staff down in Hveragerði did know about, one evning in 2013. After about 90 min we lost the light so to keep on further up became dangerous.
    And now.... it looks like that😮😮 a BIIIIG carpark and a whole like highway up. And the cafe.... omg what a differens. Then it was a well local hidden gem that not all, like us and other hotelguest, even found with directions from those that had been.

    Hello,
    Wow
    We were just there a few days ago, we love and used your videos to plan our trip. Maybe you have the answer, the parking machine wasn't working. Do you know what will happen if we weren't able to pay. We has a rental car. Its nerve racking.
    Thank you

    • @aflaz171
      @aflaz171 10 місяців тому

      Well, if it wasn't working, then how can you be expected to pay!

    • @zorinanilsson7215
      @zorinanilsson7215 10 місяців тому

      If your number plate was read the rentalcar company probably will get the bill and the can/will bill you for it afterwards

    So I noticed you used your phone to pay for the parking. Do most places have the ability to pay using my Apple wallet?

    • @mamabearmaliena
      @mamabearmaliena 10 місяців тому +1

      I was there 2 years ago and used my Apple wallet the whole time. Even for bathrooms. It was either e-pay or on an app for things like parking or pre-pay on a website for things like spas and pools.

    You still show the private parts of a stranger in your video. And don't say you didn't know that. I brought it to your attention just after the video appeared (in a private message on your homepage, so as not to draw public attention to this fact).

    Pay for parking, another way to take whatever money they can get out of you!

      Maintenance of trails and facilities for visitors incurs costs. Got to pay for it all somehow.
