Şeb-i Arus - Mevlana

December 17th, the night when Mevlana - Celaleddin Rumi (1273 - 1273) passed away. Each year in December people around the world commemorate the anniversary of his death.
The Mevlevis call it the night of union/wedding with the Beloved, şeb-i arus.
To remember his wisdom and teaching verses (Mathnawi), which incorporate the deep knowledge of the region from Horazan to Anatolia, I made this little video - it dates back to an encounter with Mevlana, in December 2018; it was a lonely, rainy night in Gaziantep/Turkey...
