1 + ½ cup (180g) refined flour
¼ cup (30g) cocoa powder
2 teaspoon (8g) coffee powder
1 tablespoon (12g) baking powder
½ teaspoon (3g) baking soda
¼ cup (30g) caster sugar
2 cups (480ml) milk
2 tablespoon (25ml) lemon juice
⅓ cup (80ml) oil
½ teaspoon (3ml) vanilla extract
5-7 crushed Oreos
Melted butter for brushing the waffle iron

Waffles for breakfast is my thing! I like adding a homemade fruit compote on top of waffles. I've often ordered waffles just to eat them with Strawberry or Mulberry Compote. I feel compote adds a bit of tartness and fruitiness to the waffles which balances out the sweetness. 😊 It's great that Borosil has a waffle maker now so people can make them at home. #myborosil #bakewithshivesh

Any waffle topping works for me until it's chocolate waffle but still if to choose it's chocolate waffle with all white topping. (Vanillla icecream + whitechocochips + white chocolate)

As for waffle toppings, oh so many favourites I have.. starting from mild toppings like banana slices with vanilla icecream on chocolate waffles, to contrasting flavours like blueberry compote and whipped cream on plain waffles, to really indulgent ones like strawberry compote on a scoop of chocolate icecream on a double thick crunchy waffle, interspersed with cake pieces or cookie pieces.. just thinking of these makes me feel I'm having a relaxed Sunday breakfast on a sunny morning with family (at home) or good friends (at a great bakery) 😊
