I'm on my way there now.....
@@NBWildman hope you liked it
this was good trap setting vid...12:27 you know you are in canada when you see the 1970s porn stache, eh
I've seen a few videos from this series back in 2008 as part of my trapping course. This is my first time watching this fisher video and it was painful watching him build that cubby. I'm guessing back then this trapper would have been well paid for his efforts
I can remember my grandfather talking about shutting down his farm if he ever saw a set of fisher tracks and trailing and trapping until he caught it. He said it was 1/2 a years wage for him...
I have caught several fishers at dirt hole sets ment for coyotes and fox. Also one that was ment for coon. All had a skunky long range call lure. The coon set I used Tocco meat that got to old.
where can someone get the cage traps that you use in the video ?
I have some kind of animal that killed 5 chickens in about a hour in broad daylight..do you think it might be a fisher cat? Oh all that was left was 5 piles of feathers.no blood or bones..
my guess would be fox or raccoon, fisher avoid people and public
Havahart trap works
I like how he says let's focus on trapping, and then goes into a travel montage and doesn't explain anything as he's setting the first trap.
Having 30 years experience in the Adirondacks I was going to critique this video sequentially, but the longer I viewed this the more ridiculous it became. I realized it would take me longer than the video itself it became a lost cause!! That's the trouble with UA-cam. Anyone can say anything lacking knowledge of the subject??
It damn near took him 30 minutes to set up that cubby set, which is way too much work for such a small animal worth hardly catching
