I hope this helps - and it would be a perfect time to clean that small patch of glass. Leave a comment if the process is diferent on the DB9.2 Thanks for watching!
@@Aston1936 hi there, yes removal is exactly the same as in your video other than no wire to worry about. Thanks again and I’ll add a comment to the main thread.
Hi. In case any DB9.2 owners are wondering, I’ve just followed this video on my 2015 car and the process was identical, other than there’s no wiring to worry about as no third rear light there. Do watch out though, there’s a small gap ahead of the first panel you remove and it would be so easy to lose a screw down there. Great opportunity to clean up back there!
@@Aston1936 This video specifically was great, Since new I also had the same “Tap, Tap..” sound sometimes that gets on one’s nerves… years back tried to fix that through dealer, 1200$ later it was still there, amazingly you found it! I am sure it is a common issue on DB9s. Very peculiar feature of British kind! That fix alone to me justifies the whole upgrade project! Been learned to live with it, never thought I could find a fix… Thanks again.
I only have two additional suggestions for you ... Even though I have owned (and loved!) a DB9 myself, you may be better off opting for a Volante (convertible) version or, like me now, looking for a Rapide S (essentially the 4-door DB9) instead!!
i can't for the life of me, understand why manufacturers would design rear seats like that. that space would be put to better use, unadorned with leather and whatnot, as a storage compartment.
Brilliant I’m going to do this just to clean the glass back there, was searching to see if you’d done this literally just a few days ago!
PS mines a DB9.2 so will assume it’s exactly the same except no rear brake light cable to detach…

Would you happen to have any info on how to remove that same speaker from the 2019 DBS? I'm afraid to break something getting it out

insurance is cheaper and gives the option for child seats.
