Look at the players he has at West Ham now and the style of play. He was never fit for united, I like him but defence first doesn’t cut it at the big clubs
I wouldn’t say he was defence first at United. Also plenty massive clubs play quite defensive styles of play with counter attacking. This is the hallmark or Chelsea under mourinho and it’s the way Real Madrid have been playing for 15 years. Also the big Italian clubs - it’s fundamental for them to be defensively sound first and foremost above all else. What you’ve said about big clubs not prioritising defence is just simple not true
@@hmu05366it doesn’t matter what you say it’s what the players who were there said about him. Chelsea a big club 😂 wise up. Madrid defensive for 15 years yeah sure ronaldo bale and benzema were defence first. Take your head for a wobble
Exactly, as it’s Moyes who changed the culture of football at Manchester United that set the rot on that exists today. He a mid-table manager, who was never suited to a serial Premier League winning team like Manchester United.
He found an aging team and Ferguson had done zero efforts at transitioning that generation. You have 5, 6 key players who cannot play 90 minutes properly and whose performance was collapsing along with their market value. Man Utd have been struggling since because there's no patience and signings are made in quick succession and without a long term plan, or the patience to sustain it. Ferguson himself had time early on that no manager has been given in the eras since. Perhaps the nature of the industry these days, or the tourist fans, or the owners, or a bit of all that then some.
Moyes is not clueless at all. Nobody could have done a better job as we’ve seen over the last 11 years. The issues at Man U are higher up the chain than the manager. Sir Alex and David gill were holding it together
@@benscrnonsense I don’t agree with that at all. You don’t change the whole culture of an entire organisation just by being the head coach. That’s not what their role is.
Mouse wasn’t given a chance he went for big players but was overruled, this guy has done a lot for football forget results, this is a man! A man trying to do a job. Football must be one of the most stressful and hardest jobs in the world. 90% of us cannot comprehend or image what it takes to do that job. As a life long Man United fan I’m embarrassed how the treated moyes.
He was never the right choice manager for Manchester United regardless of Alex Ferguson choosing him. I knew it was a mistake when it was announced Moyes was going to be the manager, as he is a Mid-Table Manager, not a manager consistently in the Top 4 or for for what Manchester United should be a Top 2 table team who are mostly No.1. He got rid of all of the coaching staff from Ferguson’s team, and basically Moyes set the rot of culture of football Manchester United have today. My criticism of Sir Alex Ferguson in the last few years before Moyes was appointed, is that after Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United, the team were on Autopilot from 2009-10 to 2012-13. So in that regard Moyes is right that some players from that time were getting older etc and needed to be replaced. But he was just the wrong man for the club. And even with more time, he’d be no different to Ten Hag.
The Job was to big for David moyes
He did too fast too quick changes came in like a bull in a china shop
After SAF the hierarchy at the club never gave Moyes a fighting chance and didn't back him in the transfer market ?

Fergie left a massive void. United have still not recovered.
Ten Haag changed Manchester
He was clueless. He tried to get players from Real Madrid or something. He brought all his staff from Everton and even fellaini. Wtf

If he got fabregas and kroos he would of been decent they both moved for under 30m in the end
