It's call honesty and fair sportmanship for a player that clearly knows that's IN. Kachanov knows that IN but he also help to tell the umpire that it was OUT where he clearly knows its IN. No honesty for Kachanov.
That fine for Gaston was reduced to 72000 Euros on appeal. Still, I bet he doesn't do that again.

Maybe I am the only one but I think chair was right about Baena. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I have seen him do/say annoying stuff before, but what makes me mad here is him playing dumb. He is clearly shouting AT the umpire. It is no coincedence.
He was also clearly wrong on the previous call, it was a late call and clearly didn’t influence his miss….he’s a baby.

Supervisors don’t overrule anything. They’re practically pointless because they come out to speak to the players and say “it is the umpires decision”.
@@Correction294 The umpire did everything in the best way! The umpire choice to don't replay the point was absolutely correct since the ball was call (in a wrong way) out after Baena hit that ball). Then the unsportman conduct was very very good since you can not screm towards the umpire to rebel the previous decision! Tennis is not for these pathetic players.

haven't watched a lot of carballes baena's matches so not sure if he's always that loud, but it's definitely one of the loudest grunts i've heard from a male player

Nole can be a GOAT but his attitude on the court throughout his career will never be recognized as a class athlete. He has one of the lowest and most ordinary attitude in the world of tennis sports.

Smashing your racquet should be an automatic default in ATP level matches. It makes the sport look bad. These racquets retail for $200-$300 and there are kids watching pro tennis whose parents can't afford to buy them new racquets.
why is it's someone else's problem if their parents cannot buy them racquets though? Should Nascar be banned because my parents cannot afford to buy me a car?
Gotta be one of the cringiest things I've read in a while 😂. Nearly every tennis player has broken a racquet in their career, it's common and part of the sport (in a way). Suggesting that u should get defaulted for such an act is beyond belief....
