    As a recently moved out 20-year-old, here’s a little reality check for the 17-year-olds who are romanizing moving out… The cost of living anywhere is absurd. A simple 1 bedroom or even studio apartment here in America will cost you $2k a month. Inflation is just as bad for your groceries and gas prices. So you could either do this (live alone) or split rent with 2 or 3 roommates, who will also probably have habits that annoy you anyways. So for most people, just stay with your parents until you’re like 22. Don’t listen to the older people who told you they moved out when they were 18… Completely different time and economy back then.

    I kinda relate to the guy. I dont really like living in my current household right now due to the fact that Im also restricted to doing certain things only. Sometimes my mom gives me food that she used to cook with seed oils and whenever I try to convince her that it isnt good, she wont believe me. I obviously have a good relationship with my siblings and parents but sometimes I really wanna escape this place.

It just shows a complete lack of understanding about how medical science works.

    If I am honest, I feel very proud to champion parents whom willingly take my advice regarding diet and exercise. They genuinely listen to my advice regarding seed oils, meat, what to eat and what not to eat... they aren't perfect, but what matters is that they are slowly trying (40+ years of conditioning is hard to undo). If it makes any difference, my parents grew up in former Yugoslavia and Germany, which both have heavy diets reliant on meat, and with meat being the healthiest food, I suppose the were prepositioned to be "healthier" than usual.

    Feel you I moved out due to a toxic living environment with my moms boyfriend and went from being able to focus on my skills my body and things I wanted to do to working full time barely getting by and being more stressed than happy because I had to get a job I didn’t even like. After that I went into the trades and I’m currently in trade school for electric and electronics and I’m getting guidance from business owners on how to one day build a proper business. Even then I’m still struggling financially and with my health! That is until I made up my mind to do self improvement and make myself the best version of me. But that takes a lot of sacrifice so unless you’re just a tad bit insane like I am bide your time and wait until you set yourself up for success. (For reference I live in New York which is why even with a decent job I’m still struggling because it’s insanely expensive here)

Definitely made me grow up fast being dependent, living by myself. It’s given me time to grow as a person and figure out what I want in life. Been working my ass off past 2 years building up a business and investing to make the money I earn work for me. I’m a nutrition sciences student. If your parents still have outdated beliefs on cholesterol tell them this: The molecule that causes high blood cholesterol (the kind that builds up plaque in arteries) is called LDL. LDL isn’t actually cholesterol itself. It stands for low density lipoprotein. Essentially, it transports the cholesterol made INTERNALLY by your body (NOT DIETARY CHOLESTEROL) to your cells (too much of this can cause plaque buildup). High LDL is mainly caused by HIGH PROCESSED SUGAR INTAKE and OBESITY. On the other hand, DIETARY cholesterol is transported by molecules called chylomicrons to your liver, which is where it’s used to make hormones (ex. Testosterone) and help digestion of fat and fat soluble vitamins (ADEK). Without this, your hormone production and body’s ability to use vitamins ADEK would drastically plummet. Essentially, dietary cholesterol helps your body make hormones and digest vitamins, and plays a completely different role than the internally made cholesterol. The belief that dietary cholesterol will clog your arteries is completely false and outdated. This has been proven by science and there’s plenty of research to back this up.

    • @nobev__
      @nobev__ 4 місяці тому +1

      Additionally, if you are healthy and in shape, you will tend to have higher HDL level and and lower LDL levels. HDL has a similar function to the chylomicrons, only difference is that it transports internally made cholesterol to your liver instead of dietary. Both will increase hormone production and digestion of fat and vitamins ADEK.

    Yo hamza I will disagree with the aspect of women “coddling” their children. I was watching a Patrick Bet-David interview and he talks about how the common factors that are within a successful person are [1] a person who loves them unconditionally (Meaning that no matter what they do that person still believes in them. This will typically be the mother.), [2] a person who they once loved but deeply hurt them (Typically will be the father because a boy goes through 3 stages with his father: Idolize him as a he’s a kid, Demonize him as he’s growing up, and Humanize as he’s grown enough to realize that the father is the way that he is because of how he grew up), and lastly choosing the right enemies (Strategies to success).
    But, I do agree with you in the aspect that both parents are needed. Being a son of a single mother I had it extremely hard because I never had that role model there to teach me or so that I could hate (As odd as that may sound).

    DO NOT MOVE OUT IF YOU DON"T HAVE TO! Rent is expensive so you'd literally have so much more money than your competitors who are paying rent, by staying at home. Honestly brother I can't imagine that selling your mom on letting you eat food that you pay for is actually that tough. Figure out a way to convince her and invest whatever you would have paid for rent back into your business.

  • @PKTraceur
    @PKTraceur 4 місяці тому

    I agree with what is said, but as someone late 20s who’s lived alone for a while, I honestly think men should move out before 20 unless there’s a very good reason. There are more ways to grow than just through money, we have to develop our character also, and we can only do this through trials. It doesn’t mean move into a shithole or make a stupid decision with moving out, but you learn to adapt and solve problems when you’re put into a position like that. You can still start a business while working, you actually learn a lot from your colleagues and role depending on the type of job you’re doing.
    But think about what you’re doing if you’re living with parents until late 20s; you’re still under the thumb of someone, you cannot change anything, you cannot truly discipline yourself or take full responsibility. You learn to live with a soft backrest, but when you’re out on open water; you have to swim, you can’t stop, and that builds you into a real man.

    Looks like I got a good mother. She cooks me boiled eggs, vegetables, low seed oil chicken and meat ( can't afford butter), rice etc. Doesn't allow father to bring bread and chips. She does insist on me to drink some shitty nut drinks but I try to avoid them. I might be fat but I don’t eat junk at all. Like not even once a month. So fking lucky.

    Fortunately, my parents buy a shit ton of eggs. They think themselves that eggs are actually really healthy and me and my brother eat a stupid amount of eggs each day.
    But then my mom is concered that Im buying the cheaper bananas because "the cheaper ones are not as good for you as the more expensive ones" whilst we have fcking sweets in our house, dafuq?
