Perhaps a good house rule would be: when you are about to assign the last character, choose the last character from the engineering characters only if there is not an engineering character already present. (note I've never played the game, this is an unqualified observation)
Wow! You're knocking it out of the park with a string of great playthroughs of some REALLY fun games. I pre-ordered TCiD and have had a blast every time it hits the table. As a sci-fi fan, I much prefer this to Pandemic (hope that's not heresy, but there you go). The 'Grow a Beard' card cracks me up every time. Normally I'm not a huge fan of standees, but these are the exception. Looking forward to introducing this gem of a game to some more friends very soon.
Clone Wars is an improved Pandemic game. It is very thematic if you are a fan of clone wars to a point I consider it as the definitive Star Wars prequel game. For those wanting to enhance rules, BGG forum has threads on variants to make rules more engaging, optionally of course. I am not enthusiastic about Pandemic, but Clone Wars just nailed it as a thematic game.
I have not have a chance to have one of those game boxes in my hands, so I had to go for the videogame at Steam. Geez. It seems as if the computer knew what I need in order to lose and picked alert cards accordingly. A really difficult game, but very fun and cutscenes are lovely.
I like the theme of this one but not sure about the gameplay. It seems like you just have to survive long enough to let the teleporter chief take 4-5 turn and you win. Still, nice playthrough as always.
I get that, the overall objective of the game is simple, but the fun part for me is trying to slow down the other fires while still focusing on that simple objective. Thanks for watching!!

What do you think of the red alert cards since we didn't get a chance to see what those might be like? Keep up the great work. I'm loving what you are doing with the channel!
Great questions! 1. No player elimination, you only can get injured that is it. 2. Red Alerts you esentially just lose unless you negate them with an override. So they are just BAD!!! Think insta-kill. Hope that helps!
No, there is no player elimination. There is character death however. If the “crewman” or a player at his location becomes injured, the Crewman dies instead. He respawns on the bridge at the start of his next turn and keeps his cards.
Awesome play through. Love the sound effects (torpedo for example). I am thinking about grabbing this but it seems a tad easy. Edit- in your final thoughts I guess the Engineering character was the reason for how easy it seemed.
Yeah growing the beard really helped! Played this game 15 times now and that is my 2nd win! Plus you can always make it harder. If you like the theme go fur it! Plus I would love to see a playthrough on your channel of this game!!

Engineer is who fixes the jump core to win the game. Of course you need one.
