    Hey man... That is actually the stock carb, but i made that air cleaner for it. I removed the air box, ducting and stock air cleaner from the bike. That air cleaner is available from J&P Cycles. I then made an adapter from a rubber radiator hose that was the right size to fit over the carb. i had to make some adjustments to the air cleaner to allow the hose to fit inside. then it is secured with hose clamps on both sides of the air cleaner backing plate. hope that helps! good luck.

    I just got an all stock 1999 with 25000 on it from the original lady owner ..FOR FREE..!! looks beautiful runs mint just needs tires and a front brake caliper rebuild !!

    DID YOU KNOW, vn frame, and a vn drifter frame are identical apart from 1 thing, the drifter frame is goose necked, so if you want to fit dna springers make sure you use th frame of a drifter, I used the vn frame,cut the front frame and fashion a wish bone,scrapped the rad and tunneled air vents for the rear pot,I have 4 inch under springers fitted, just thought I would mention this tip.

    nice classic bobber.. i personally would kept tank stock and stock rear wheel (or fatter rear wheel) but thats just me

    Hi! Very cool bike! Im working on the same bike and I noticed you changed the carb system. I have a similar bug eye air filter that i would like to use. Could you explain wat you changed to all the tubes? Cheers, Steven

    Hello, I need help please:
    I have a home made air box, I'm having trouble with one hose.
    The hose coming from the brass fitting coming off the second cylinder going into the old air-box.
    what should I do with this hoses, do I close off this or keep it following?

      These bikes are basically a soft tail. Not a rigid. It rode great.

    I KNOW YOU POSTED THIS A LONG WHILE BACK BUT I WAS wondering if the BACK BONE OF A 900 WILL ACCEPT THE SAME TANK WITH THE SAME TINY BIT OF MOD?? IF ANYONE KNOWS..I CAN GET YOU HOOKED UP WITH BLUE COLLAR BOBBERS..HE AND HIS WIFE ARE GREAT FRIENDS AND I WAS THEIR VERY 1ST CUSTOMER!! 100% SERIOUS.My names Colin..if u call and ask..they will tell u I was in fact their true 1st customer.. If i can get correct info regarding tge tank,I will get you 25% to 50% of depending on the part or (parts)..Thank you.CB
