"Don't quit before the miracle!" I remember that exact sign when I walked in 2014. I'm glad to see it's still there! If things work out I'll be going back next year. I really like your videos, but I have to make a criticism. You haven't mentioned Spanish Kilometers once!
@@mr.hallstrailguide589 It's just kind of a joke on how the posted distances on the Camino rarely match up to the perceived distance when you actually walk it. For example, you see a sign saying the next town is 5km. You're dying for a spot to relax and have a cold drink. But when you walk those 5km, it feels more like 15!
@@marshalt Actually, I did make a snarky comment about that. I believe it was in the Leon to Mazarife video. But now I have a name for it, so thanks! When we redo the Camino next year, I'll be able to use the term for the next set of guides.
Wasn't an easy time when I was walking it an April 2022. It was bucketing down rain for the next 3 days without stopping. FYI if you'd like to know how many pilgrims will fit under that wind break, it's 19
Yikes! This is why I think the Camino is a great adventure. Never know what you're in for. We were lucky. A few hours of rain here and there but otherwise, decent weather. Thanks for watching.
Nice and informative video. EL Camino definitely is worth all these sacrifices. Thank you.
So true. It was one of the best experiences I have had walking. If you haven't done it, I highly recommend it.
¡Excelente! ¡Buen Camino!
Gracias!
I have tested the food truck meals.
Magic cook.
Cold drinks...really cold.
Recomanded!
Good to know. We didn't stop for no other reason than we weren't hungry.
I would never skip Meseta.
June 2022.
Warm enough.
Not only phisicaly.
Forvthe soul too.
I came away from the Meseta with nothing but gratitude for having done it. It was a great hike.
For me is not a hike only. Is a pilgrimage.
You are among the majority, it appears. See the video for Day 18 for the details.@@ovidiu-horatiudeleanu4231

Sorry. I'm clueless. What are Spanish Kilometers?

¿Qué tal esa casi interminable recta hasta Calzadilla de la Cueza?
Si. Muy interminable. Gracias por ver!
