Is there a way to have the x15 plastic installed on this intake so it looks factory when going to the dealer? I don't want to remove it every time I stop by the dealer. they're bad with voiding warranties.
Yes sir, many of our customers that are still in warranty will swap it over to their PDI manifold. It is stuck on the OE manifold with double sided tape. Simply pull it off, apply a new strip or two of double sided tape and fits right on the new PDI manifold!
Now if you only made an exhaust manifold that would hook up to the EGR cooler!!! What I would really like to see is an intake, exhaust and dual turbo kit become available with a tune, now that would be something!!!
This part does not currently have CARB E.O. with it. It may in the future, just working through with all the paperwork. It would not fail, or affect any emissions testing in CA, however with no CARB E.O. we are not allowed to sell the part to a CA resident.
Anything you do to your truck/engine can void warranty. It all lies in the decision of the dealer. The Tuner is not traceable and cannot be found in the ECM, and the Intake is a direct factory replacement, just allows more clean air and better balance to all cylinders.

@@pdidiesel Go figure. I'm located in Ca and you would think anything that could improve MPG would be just fine with CARB. But then again it's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY they get making companies apply to sell aftermarket parts. ;)
The 2012 model year isn't ready yet. It should be around March-April of this year. It's in the works, and will be roughly the same results as what you see here on this model.

No ECM adjustments needed for the Intake. It's pretty simple really... you give an engine more cool air, it runs cleaner, more efficient and doesn't labor the engine as hard. No shiny logo, we completely reverse engineered the factory intake and opened up the 4" bottle neck design coming into the intake. That picks up over 30% more air flow, and provides a better balance of air to all 6 ports. We have some air flow comparison videos on here that will show you what I'm explaining. Thanks for watching!
Good thought, but cleaning won't increase the air flow by over 30%, provide a better balance of airflow to all 6 cylinders, lower Intake air temps by 10-15 degrees and exhaust temperature by 75-80 degrees.
Usually when I am telling mechanics to use the torque wrench and torque all bolts per specification, they are telling me that their fathers and grandfathers were not using the torque wrench. So, I stopped teaching for free.

I'm wondering if possible can u reprogram the engine to work without the egr. And just the scr alone.

It flows just over 30% more than the stock intake manifold.
