BM-800 microphones are supplied with various capsules - electret and normal condenser (more expensive models).
The BM-800 with electret capsule will run fine without 48V phantom power ! If you use the 48 volt supply, the circuit in the original BM-800 detects that 48 volts and puts it through a zener diode regulator that drops it to ~5 volts anyway, so it is not actually operating on 48 volts - that gets regulated down to ~5 volts !
Every condenser microphone requires electric power, but if the microphone has an electret capsule - 48 V phantom power is not required, it can damage the microphone (if the power stabilizer is of poor quality), a low voltage source (several volts from sound cards) is must be sufficient.

Not sure if this is a question or you’re making a statement based on your test. As for me, using a bm 800 mic which is an electret condenser mic does not need 48v phantom power and does not make any difference with phantom power. Please note some condenser mic needs 48v for them to work.
Phantom power is amazing. My first soundcards are boosted!! Now im using yamaha a606 and havent use it now

Thank you. Turning the volume knob, is like turning the clock - 10 o’clock would be about 40% of the volume and 1 o’clock would be 60% off the volume.

14:31 Hello- how would the Shure SM58 dynamic microphone fare running directly into the K1 sound card?
I’ve heard this mic may require fethead booster or similar in addition to that product needing 48v to run properly. The concern is if the SM78 would do okay running straight through the K1

Shure SM58 does not need a phantom power so you can connect it directly to K1.

No big difference as I mentioned at the end of this video. I would only recommend you connect a phantom power if you are connecting a mic that needs power like Shure SM7B, Rode NT1 A, AT2020, etc.

Those BM800 mic doesn't need phantom power. Phantom power will only damage your mic as it provides current (18V or 48V) to the mic itself. Use it with a microphone such as those Shure, Behringer and etc.

That is if the circuit on your BM-800 is terrible, which is common in lower-quality versions.

Bm 800 mic is an electret condenser mic which is compatible with V8 sound card and other sound cards which does not need an external 48V phantom power.
Try nyo po bm900,bm8000 or yung double board circuit ng mic like u87 etc.☺️

Pwede po. Kaya lang po d advisable kapag malapit ang speaker, mag fedback po at possible magdouble ang audio nyo po kasi ang lalabas na audio sa speaker mapipick up ulit ng condenser mic (sensitive po kasi dpo ba). For home karaoke set up - ilayo nyo lang po ang speaker sa mic nyo po.

@jenuds brought a new condenser mic. But the mic is not the same brand of my maono sound card , I try to connect it together with my sound card, but I am not satisfied the sound of my condenser mic. It's like an a sound of an empty can

If your dynamic mic wireless and you have tried connecting thru the 6.35mm port and it didn’t work- then connect xlr to 3.5mm jack. You have to connect fethead to the dynamic mic then xlr then connect 3.5mm to the condenser mic of the k1
Try this one first as you might not need an external power. However for a long time use I think using an external phantom power will be good to use.

Kapag Focusrite po gamit nyo dry po ang audio kasi need nyo pong gumamit ng audio software like ableton kahit free version or audacity or at least garage band kung sa iOS. Kung android gamit po kayo ng bandlab app.

Did you use the micro usb to usb type A to connect to your computer? if you did, go to setting-Sound then set both speaker and mic as the sound card. Then open the built in camera-video of your computer to record. Or if you are using a software-make sure your audio is set as the sound card.

Meron po ako V8 at di ako satisfied sa kinalabasan ng sound nya. Gusto ko po bumili ng ibang model, Ano po ang best na ma-recommend nyo na maganda gamitin sa pagkanta.
May V8 po na tunog lata kasi nakabili po ako ng ganun. May V8 rin naman po na maganda an tunog. For me ok po ang V9, V10, A2 , Maonocaster or K1. A2, Maonocaster at K1 ang pweding magrecord ng custom sound effects that you might need later for Live Streaming.

Cables could be distorted. Try using different cables but same kind. Make sure cables are plugged in properly. It could from the mic too.

Would you rate the sound between V8 and K1?
First of all, I believed there are different manufacturer’s of V8 and K1 sound card as well as other sound cards except the ones with brand names like maono. Anyway this is just my opinion. I am saying this coz, I have tested 4 v8 sound cards and I noticed the audio quality aren’t the same. Which means the audio quality of mine could be different than yours. I noticed some of the V8 audio quality are comparable to K1 sound card. So I have tested 2 K1 I bought from 2 different sites and they almost sound the same. If you’re just starting and don’t care about the preset sound effect, then go for V8 coz some of them sounds the same as K1 then just upgrade later. In my location right now, you can buy 3 units or more of V8 to 1 unit of K1.

Kahit sa akin, may static rin po pero d lang masyado malakas. Your V8 should still be ok as long as naririnig nyo pa ang mga effects. Did you make sure po ba na nakataas ang volume sa "Record volume knob"? Then try nyo pong itaas ang volume ng mic at background music. Minsan sa mga cables rin, try nyo pong pagpalitin or switching from live 1 to 2.

As far as I know, yes mag wowork po.
@@liemgarciaofficial3524 Don't do it unless the mic requires power. Professional audio mixers have built-in phantom power. With V8 and BM-800 you don't need one.
