So I just got this in the mail. This was a UA-cam link that it told me to go to for instructions. All this is is the sound card instructions. How do I get the microphone set up? It doesn’t give you any instructions on what pieces go together how to get it standing up am I just supposed to hold it in my hand while I talk??

You can screen record while going live or after you recorded a song on Starmaker. If you just want to record without starmaker, open built in camera of your phone then record.

Yes you can. Here’s a video for you. All connections should be the same except instead of going live streaming, just open built in camera of your pc then record. You will have connect thru the charging port with the micro usb to usb A, which you will use a camera lightning adapter that has camera icon and port for charging. For tiktok streaming, I’m not sure yet if all these sound cards work coz I can’t do a test yet having 700 followers @jenuds1
Now using a focusrite alone there’s no vocal effects not unless you use app with built vocal effects like Starmaker or smule. For tiktok with focusrite, you need another app or DAW for vocal effects.

If you will use this V8 sound card. Mic is connected to the v8 then v8 is connected to your laptop. Bm800 mic are good for v8 sound cards

When I enter to my room, I have to select them sing then select again then sing. It’s like one vat a time only. I’m don’t know yet how to preload more than 1 song.

Did you turned on the Bluetooth to connect in starmaker, or to your phone?
I did not connect the phone where I opened the Starmaker via Bluetooth. I used the cable from Charging port of V8 to the phone. The ipad in this video as additional (optional) background music-you can connect usingbluetooth.

I have not tried it but I think It is possible. You will need another device for streaming and an interface could be any sound card to route that audio to the device where you do your streaming.

Yes. Just connect a headset or headphone to the headphone or speaker audio output from the sound card.

Can i use any maono condenser mic with sound card for iphone ??
To connect to this V8? It depends if the Maono condenser mic does not need 48V Phantom power like an electret mic condenser mic then you can connect it directly to the v8. Otherwise it will not work or audio for vocal is cutting coz you need an external phantom power then connect your iPhone to the sound card. However if you use a sound card that has built in 48v Phantom power you might not need an external phantom power. Please read the
Manual or description when you buy online as even if a sound card does have an XLR port,it will tell you for example “does not support shure sm7b”.

What would you suggest for someone who is new? My audio sounds like there is an echo or something. I tried a different mic and had the same problem. I have a Motorola phone. First tutorial I found in english
If you’re using this V8 sound card, you just have to set the echo to zero and your voice should be flat with no echo. If you’re not using a V8 and still has echo, it has something to do on the sound setting. Whatever mic you use with audio app or sound card, there should be a control to set the echo to zero.

I think I found the controls. I didn't know that they weren't able to be seen until starting the song, or after the song by scrolling up. But it still seems like there is an echo even when I have none set. Maybe it is because of wearing headphones.
If you’re connecting a v8. When you set the echo to zero from the v8, you’re voice should not have echo as per my test right now. It doesn’t matter if there’s echo on the Starmaker sound setting.
@@jenuds I don't have a V8. I can't use your links because I am in America. I tried using headphones that had a mic on them and a wireless mic. I think the problem was using headphones in my ear that has a lot of hearing loss. I didn't know how to use the effects in the app. Using a different effect makes it sound better

I would say yes. Both vocal volume and effects as you can mixed the effects from v8 with the effects on the Starmaker.

Connecting to a PC to simply need the micro usb to usb A which normally comes when you buy it. Then set your mic as the V8 sound card.

I’m not familiar with that microphone. Please note if that mic requires 48v phantom power, you might need an external Phantom ppwer to connect your mic then to this sound card.

Do we need phantom power to connect BM 800 mic?

Hello there, do I need to have the app downloaded to both devices? I have my things hooked up but the words aren't showing. Does my app need to be open on the tablet? Please, if you could help me out that would be great, thank you so much.
You only have to download the Starmaker app on the device where you are going to go live. E ipad on this video was just the source for the karaoke or just the audio and you will not be able to show the lyrics on Starmaker app itself. Only songs from within starmaker you can see lyrics on screen.
@@jenuds Okay, maybe my tablet is old cause I couldn't see the lyrics. I didn't do something right. I hooked up the accompaniment from my V8 to my tablet and I had the live to my phone, but I never saw the lyrics on my tablet. I love the Carpenters by the way. Are you part of a family on starmaker?

I am currently having toruble with sound card for some reason when i record you can hear the instrumental through my vocal clear as day if turned down volumes but nothing seems to work i can still hwar the instrumental how can i fix?
I didn't get your scenario. If you meant when you record, instrument is more louder than your vocals, you can lower the instrument volume from the source itself then increase the mic volume. For whatever you do (recording/streaming), please remember to set the Record volume on high maybe 3 o'clock
@jenuds okay let me elaborate when I record a song it doesn't only record my voice it records the instrumental as well so I'm hearing the instrumental twice the second one being attached to my recording.

Common issue is the lightning adapter for iPhone users. Some adapters are only for headphone for you to hear and won’t work for recording or streaming.i bought my adapter from Apple Store. I also heard about android phones not compatible with sound cards so they have to download the open camera app.

I bought the BM800 kit since unfortunately, the condenser microphone that goes with the kit doesn’t work, i am using the dynamic microphone to the V8 it was all working but everytime i play it, it’s only my voice coming out from my phone. I am using my ipad for my music and the iphone for my live. Am i doing something wrong?

I have all the correct chords that came with it but do I need another adapter to plug it into the spot.... When you tap START to Start Recording, tap the 3 parallel lines-like a tall plus signs. Then you can increase your mic by sliding the VOICE to the right.
Can we post a song in starmaker or smule in same manner with v8
After you’ve recorded a song at the end, an option should show up for you to post it to other platform like FB. Of you can post on both Smule or Starmaker. In starmaker you can set it to private but Smule I don’t know how to say it to private.

Please note that for some kind of V8 if you use both Dynamic and Condenser input only one will work but most of them works - this is as per experience. You can try yours if it'll work if you connect a dynamic and condenser mic however volume for dynamic will be not as laud as condenser mic.

Hello, I bought this product (V8 sound card) 4 days back. I have exactly followed your instructions for connection. I tried several times but my mic doesn't work at all. Im so disappointed. I also watched another video of yours but of no use. Please tell me where is the fault?
Did you meant you can hear but not recording? Or you can’t hear and not recording? Are you using android or iOS? Adapter could be the issue.
Thank you for your prompt response. I use an android phone. My mic doesn't work. I can't hear at all. And, Bluetooth connection on laptop gets established, but immediately gets disconnected. I don't use any adapter as there is no need for it. I'm confused.
@@reenanarayanan6564 Mic is supposed to be connected to V8 not unless you connected a wireless mic to V8 but still a transmitter should still be connected to V8 mic port. Connecting a phone or laptop to V8 wirelessly or thru Bluetooth if you want to connect a music to V8 wirelessly or without a cable/adapter. For recording or streaming you have to connect the device to V8 not unless you have some sort of transmitter for that. I want to know that kind of transmitter you used if you record wirelessly.
I am still struggling with basic connections. Ofcourse, mic is connected to V8 n I don't hear anything at all. Earphones works fine. Is it possible where I can send a pic of my v8 connections so that you can figure out where the fault is!

It is not working without laptop or pc right? I mean I have android phone with nt1a rode. And my major issue is that today I've iRig Pre between my Microphone NT1A rode that is consuming lots of 9v battery. So I'm looking at another solution. And with live sound card I don't see AC adpater.
Yes you can use V8 sound card without a laptop. I don’t have an iRig yet so can’t give you an exact answer yet. Looking at the picture of it, there is no DC connection from the iRig. If that’s right then Rode NT1A will not work with V8 sound card. Another option is to will need an external Phantom power to connect the mic then to the V8 sound card.
I bought it with phantom dc for my mic rode nt1a: I still have a question concerning Live Sound card V8 : it seems that there is a battery into and I'm charging it through a laptop, but is there any DC adaptator ( not laptop ) for live sound card v8 to connect in 220v for avoiding to charge it through laptop ?
This V8 does not have DC. It has a built in battery. Once charged to don’t have to connect it to a power source. You may also use the block you used for phones. You can also use a portable charger.

Just hold power button for 2 to 3 seconds. If it’s not turning on perhaps it’s drained. So you must charge it first then turn it on.
The model I have is the same name but all have been changed, there no music just back tracking and charging and the instructions are for the old, it like they change everything but keep the old instructions paper.
Right there are lots of version of V8. I honestly don’t even know which is the original. Sorry to hear that. I presumed labels on v8 could be different but functionally should be the same.

What are you trying to do? Mic should be connected to the sound card then sound card is connected to your computer using usb cable came with the package. This is if you want to record or stream from your computer.
@@jenuds apologize for the delay. I was attending my classes, yes the purpose of the mic is for streaming. I have connected my mic to the sound card that comes with the setup (condenser mic port), I connected the charging cable both to the live sound card v8 box and a USB port on my pc. How do you charge the sound card?
V8 sound card should comes with micro usb to usb A. Connect it to the charging port of v8 to a power block like the one you use to charge your phone or to a computer to charge your sound card.

what about a PC desktop
You still have to connect the mic to the V8 sound card then connect usb A to micro usb - from the charging port of v8 to your desktop. Select v8 (sometimes name is mvsilicon usb or something else) as your input and ourput (speaker and mic) on the sound setting.
@jenuds what if you only have 1 port for headphones or mic on your pc
If you want the you tube songs from the laptop then effects from v8 or/and Starmaker itself- connect- 3.5mm TRRS to micro usb (it comes in the package when you buy v8). Connect 3.5mm from headphone of your pc to micro usb to the accompany port of v8. Mic is connected to the v8 as well as headphone to monitor audio. Phone is connected to live port of v8. Open Starmaker and you’re good to go.

I’m not sure if I understood you. If you want to sing to Starmaker, yes you need the app. If you just want to record, just open the built Camera of your phone then record.
