    Appreciate the video and review. I’m getting the Eliminator for my first bike in about a week. It’s nice to see you and so many others enjoying the first ride.

    I have one. It's not really a cruiser, it's like a muscle cruiser sport bike. It handles great and has a long and strong power band and keeps picking up until about 10,000rpm and still pulls smoothly to redline at 12,000rpm. It's punchy and fun above 7000rpm. It's tuned for more torque down low then the z400. The one thing that you have to accept is the rear shock is stiff to give it such good handling, so you will have a broke ass if riding bad roads.
    My bike is the 400cc version

      How well does the LED gauge light up at night? I see so many test rides with this kind of display and they're all during the day and the display looks tough to read in bright sunlight. Does it get any better in lower light?

      Its stiff because the shocks are right under the seat just like most cruisers

      @@jasonevans7260 it’s actually very easy to read, day or night, even in bright sun.
      Getting ready to hit the mountain twisties here in northern Thailand with mine in about an hour.

      @@matt59fire it’s stiff because it’s stiff and it’s stiff because there’s only a small amount of travel. Don’t have anything to do with placement.
      Otherwise all cruisers would have stiff rear suspension, which isn’t at all the case.

    • @matt59fire

      @robertdorr6607 Yeah it most definitely is. Most cruiser on the market has comment sections full of ppl bitching about the suspension. I would definitely say most. Anything else cupcake? Are you offended? Shove it

    Been looking at midsize cruisers, and the Eliminator at 451cc is the smallest/lightest that I've looked at. My right knee doesn't like being bent past 90deg, so I may opt for the Vulcan S or the Shadow Phantom with shaft drive. Nice video.

    What is top speed?

      Spec and a several reviews say 100 to 105 mph... only 10 mph slower than the Ninja 400. And 31 ft/lb torque... 7 more than the Ninja 400.

      The vulcan s has the 650 ninja motor and does 115mph this has updated ninja 400 motor this being less areo dynamic than the ninja probably around 110mph

    This is not a cruiser. It's more like a classic bike

      Plenty of cruisers with mid controls like this. Stock or modified. This is 100% a cruiser, same as the Vulcan is, same as the Speedmaster and America from Triumph are.

      @@weylins I own one and it’s riding position and distant bars don’t give the comfort of most cruisers. On previous cruisers I could ride all day, not so with the Eliminator.
      Instead it puts you in the perfect riding position to ride it hard and under control.
      It’s a muscle cruiser, it doesn’t offer much comfort from the rear shocks and it will get air in the rear going over choppy road. I think the Vulcan 650 is much more layed back cruiser feel, whereas the Eliminator encourages you to push the bike because it puts you in an aggressive (for a cruiser) riding position.

    • @weylins
      @weylins 9 місяців тому +1

      @robertdorr6607 own one myself and find it more comfortable than other cruisers. One of the most comfoetable bikes ive ever owned honesy. The more neutral foot position is better for me than other cruisers (less bruising of the tailbone and less butt going numb) and I have no problem with the distance to the bars, they're spot on for me at 6'1", not too close or far and not too high/low.
      I do mainly urban riding and back roads, only using the intestate if I want to get home quickly. The Eliminator is ideal as an urban cruiser while still having the power for state highways and back roads.

    • @robertdorr6607
      @robertdorr6607 8 місяців тому +1

      I can totally see what you mean, at 6'1". I'm 5'9" and in northern Thailand, where the roads can be suspect. But, on the good roads, it is pretty comfortable.
