The Age of Global Cooperation

- In the last century global organizations have increased in number and in power. Today we are talking, negotiating, agreeing and respectfully disagreeing to a much greater extent than we are taking up arms.
This video is attempting to visualize that and go through all the major organizations today. Let me know in the comments if I missed some!

Interesting question answered in a fascinating way. The subject matter is very much in line with the channel's philosophy. I was surprised you did not mention earlier organizations such as Red Cross or Esperanza
I appreciate your hard work and always enjoy your videos.
Love the breakdown video of the international alliances
👍
Thanks for all your hard work. I had little idea of all the cooperative organizations. Very awesome.

Let's hope for more rapport and multilateral cooperation between trade unions all around the globe.
That's a lot of information in such a short video

Most of these organisations are political and / or economic, and not all for the benefit of all of humankind, eg OPEC & BRICS. I think you need a Part 2 - co-operation for all of humankind. You might want to include some of the major global agreements & protocols that attempts to make our world a better place for all.
Humans do better when we cooperate, but conflict & competition has been preferred in the past. Can humankind "get it right", before it's too late?
You point out OPEC and BRICS, but are NATO, EU, OECD, IMF and G7 for the benefit of all of humankind then?
@@parthn-musicforwork4789 OPEC & BRICS were two obvious examples. But yes, the others are also for exclusive privilege only.
Sometimes regional entities will work together to resolve common challenges & enhance regional well-being, but the aim is not to disadvantage or specifically exclude others.
So the question is how many organisations exist that genuinely is looking to prosper the whole of humanity, either directly or working with other local or regional organisations for the common global good?
Hallo
🇪🇺🇺🇳
Interesting video but your justifications felt a bit disconnected from the assumptions made in the start.Just citing an overwhelming number of organizations without even considering their effectiveness and if there good at all (like OPEC) will not be sufficient to convince someone that the world is a better place with more diplomatic relations than ever, especially given current negative trends and events. What I hoped for after the introduction was a detailed description of some of those organizations like the IMF or the World Bank and their actions in recent history and I believe it would result in a better and more concise video.
Thank you for your input, maybe I will try something like that in the future!
