I like both the 6 x 6 pads and the kit videos - watching you create is great. I enjoyed how you concentrated on sentiments this time--and this paper pad was perfect for that!
Jennifer Reece Thank you! I really enjoy using kits and 6x6 paper pads. It’s a nice balance. I have always preferred using sentiment stamps over image stamps. Simply because my eyes aren’t great with detail work like coloring. 🙂
This is a nice paper collection. I like the colors. But I love that speciality paper!!! #1 is my favorite ❤️. I also like some of the new sketches you used in this video. TFS
Ella Conner Thank you! I really enjoyed the earth tones in this collection. Perfect for cards to donate. The specialty paper is so fun to mix with the pattern paper. 😊
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. The Honeybee paper pad + YOU = 😍. This was like the absolute perfect match. I loved every single card you made. The colors/combos are AMAZING!
Lovely to see some earthy colours and lots of geometric patterns for a change. Your solid colour mats are a game changer when it comes to bringing bold patterns together on a card. I really enjoyed the cards you made with the specialty cardstock, the cards without were lovely too but that specialty cardstock makes the cards extra luxe! I enjoy all your videos, whether it's a 6x6 pad or a kit, I always learn something/get inspired!
Titian Topsy Thank you! Cardstock layers really make a difference. Especially when using busy pattern paper. The specialty cardstock was so fun to include. I love it so much I’ve bought almost every style by Tonic Studios. 😊
I enjoy all your videos but the 6 x 6 paper pad videos are my favorite! I really like the specialty cardstocks you used this time. I especially liked the last set of cards with the embossed specialty cardstock and the washi tape set off with peel-offs. Great use of washi and the specialty cardstock is stunning when embossed.
sashabelle728 Thank you! Using 6x6 paper pads is still my favorite way to make cards. Sometimes I just get a bit busy with other videos, but I will always come back to my 6x6 videos, 😊 Including the specialty cardstock is so fun. And I agree that it looks amazing when dry embossed.
Hey Kristie!!! Wow are you ever popular!!! I am very happy for your success!!! This is a gorgeous paper pad that you are using in this video!!! Unusual color & design schemes!!! I am glad you incorporate Lizi’s dear Peel Off stickers in your cards!!! I hope you & yours are having a really nice & fun summer!!! You should do what Vicky Papannaiou (horrible spelling - Greek card maker on You Tube) does - she takes the summer off!!! ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️. Sending love & hugs!!!
Alice Adler Thank you, Alice! I’m really enjoying all the design team and guest designing projects lately. When I started my channel, I didn’t think anyone would even watch my videos. It’s been an amazing journey. 😊 I couldn’t resist buying this lovely paper collection by Honey Bee Stamps. I love being able to support small businesses. 💖 And I will use Lizi’s peel offs whenever I can. Love them so much! My 6x6 videos are generally not sponsored, so I’m free to use any products I want. Don’t worry, I’ll be taking time off this summer. It’s been rather rainy lately though. I hope you are having a beautiful day! 🌸
I'm not sure I have a favorite, but I really like the *Remember You Are Amazing* group. They were all great and I loved that they were great for men! Thank you for sharing.
Deborah Wildman Thank you! It’s a wonderful and uplifting sentiment stamp set. I love finding paper collections that work well for masculine cards. Hard to do sometimes.
Thank you for another fantastic 6x6 tutorial they are by far my favourites of your tutorials, although I do like your kit tutorials I mainly buy paper pads with some matching toppers, embellishments and decoupage. I loved all the cards including the new card templates.
Tina Bento-Filipe Thank you! Using 6x6 paper pads for card making is still my favorite way to craft. Although the monthly kits are a lot of fun and push me out of my comfort zone. 😊
Kristie, I would consider the papers in this kit earth tone colors which ,I think you could take any color from drab to fab with your card designs! I always enjoy your perspective when it comes to color combinations! Your approach is absolutely inspiring
I really enjoyed this one and think I will get some of these papers/supplies. My favorite were the last ones with the four squares and also the brown one with the stars and the "words are not enough" sentiment. Nice job as always, I love your ideas! I was just thinking today, I need some ideas for masculine cards!
Thank you so much for sharing your talent! Your videos have inspired me to give card making a try, and I love it! I love the 6x6 videos! Its so fun to get the most out of a paper pack with little to no waste, especially for those of us with tight crafting budgets that cant swing a monthly subscription- as much as we may want to. Cant wait to see more videos- 6x6, or monthly kit- they're all great!
Lacey Stonerock Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. Monthly kits are very fun, but using a 6x6 paper pads is my favorite way to make cards. You really don’t have to have a lot of other supplies. Cardstock, a few stamp sets and maybe some dies, plus basic tools. 😊
Fabulous start to my day!! Love all of your videos! Most kits include 6x6 paper so doing both kits and pads is helpful to me! Thank you for what you do for the crafty community!!
Beverly Stotz Aw, thanks! Using 6x6 paper pads has always been my favorite way to make cards. It is nice that most kits include 6x6 paper. Although Lizi keeps me on my toes using 6x6, 8x8, or 12x12 paper in her kits. Lol! 😊
I was thinking you hadn’t done one of these for a while! I’m so happy you’ve done another, I have missed them! Thank you Kristie. It is appreciated. 🌹Rosie of Oz 🇦🇺

Hi Kristie. I love ur cards! I love the fact that u donate them. I have LOTS of craft supplies and feel that they do not go to good use. My family is not excited about receiving homemade cards but I love to make them. I would LOVE to be able to donate cards to people that are older, sick, lonely, etc. I just wanted to know how u went about finding places that wanted cards. Is there a website I can visit? Thank u for sharing ur talent. So much inspiration!!!!
Thank you so much! 😊 How sad your family doesn't enjoy your handmade cards. I think donating cards is a great idea. Retirement homes, hospitals, cancer centers are all great options. I donate most of my cards locally. I went to the places and asked if they would be interested in receiving handmade cards. (This was before the pandemic.) I include a handwritten message inside every card. I know Scrapbook dot com has a Cards for Kindness campaign. They collection handmade cards, then dispute them around the country. You could check out their program.
Susan Steinke Thank you! I do use a lot of different sketches. Currently I store them in an expandable file folder sorted by website and in chronological order. As far as which sketches I use, it really depends. Sometimes I’ll select a sketch that will fit a sentiment or image stamp. Other times I choose sketches based on what size paper scraps are available. And there are times, I just want to try a new sketch.
You so rock ♡ Amazing work, as always. I didn't bring cake, but I did bring iced tea :D ;) Hope that counts! Don't forget to take care of Kristie, too!! We love your videos whenever and however you send them. {{{♡♡♡}}}
Tracy Tracy Aw, Thank you my friend. 💖 I guess iced tea works, but I prefer cake. Lemon please. 😉 Don’t worry, I’ll have plenty of relaxing time this summer. I appreciate you looking out for me though. 😊
Hello Kristie..just wanted to ask you where you get those thin accent strips. I thought I watched another video of yours that said love from Liz maybe? But I was wondering if those only came in your kits or if they could be purchased separately? I'm new to card making. I've always been a scrapbooker. But your videos have so inspired me, especially since their easy to follow and I love how you use up a 6 x 6 pad. I'm not familiar with all these web sites you get sketches from. Do you have a list somewhere of the sites to pull the sketches from? Sorry for the many questions. I know your busy now with your kids home for the summer. If you can answer whenever you have a chance I would appreciate it. I can see why all these companies want you to demonstrate their products. You can take some of the not so pretty paper and still make it look elegant on you cards. Also i realize how much time it takes to edit videos and I can only imagine the time spent to cut down a 5-7 hour video. And time is precious when you have kids. So thank you for taking the time to share your creativity....Mary
Jaditelady173 Mary Hello! Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate it. 💖 The Peel Off stickers are made by Love a From Lizi and sold only on her website. Every monthly kit includes one sheet in a new color or style. But you can also purchase the Peel Offs individually. I believe there are over 80 varieties available now. I absolutely love Peel Offs and use them all the time. I’m a huge fan of using card sketches. I find them from a variety of different websites. All of the sketches I use are listed on my coordinating blog post.( Link is in the description box.) I always feel so honored when companies ask me to guest design. I’ve had the opportunity to try a huge variety of products. Summertime does limit my crafty time, but I’ll still try to post at least one video every week. My kids aren’t super little and understand mom needs a bit of crafty time. 😊
@@KristieMarcotte Thanks for your response. After I asked that question I went back in an "Listened" that time to find the Love from Lizi website. Yes I found several that I wanted to purchase, but the shipping was $19.50 for just a small package of stickers...that I'm sure could be mailed in a small bubble wrap envelope. I realize it's coming from the U.K. but I just can't justify paying that sum for shipping. No matter how I tried to adjust my total it still was a $13.50 shipping charge and by that time the shipping cost more than the stickers. They remind me of Dazzles that Paper Wishes sells..same size and everything, but they did have just pin stripes. I like the pin stripes the best. If you know anyone in the US that sells her stickers I woukd love to buy from them. I am going to keep on looking around. After watching a lot of your videos, you got my mojo going to create some cards with the 6 x 6 pads that I have tons of. I just wanted to get some of those pinstripes too. I started watching your videos because I have a scrapping for less kit and I wanted to get an idea of what different people were doing with it. Your style of scrapping is more structured and neat lines which is what I prefer. But I have been looking around to get a feel for everyone's ideas. I'm more of a scrapbook person, but where I live now no one scraps here, so I've been trying to participate in things online when I can. Well thank you again for giving me the information about the pinstripe stickers from love from Liz. If you do know of somewhere in the US where I could buy these I would appreciate you sharing that info...Thanks and continue to enjoy your summer...Mary
Jaditelady173 Mary Currently, the only place to purchase Lizi’s Peel Offs is from her UK website. Every once in awhile, she does have a special offering free shipping. I will always let everyone know about the sales. The other way people save on shipping is to subscribe to the monthly kits. Subscribers don’t pay any additional shipping fees for Add On products, like Peel Offs. I love all the Peel Off styles, but the pin stripes are my favorite. I’m on Love From Lizi’s design team and I also guest design for other companies on occasion. It’s fun using a variety of styles and products. But my card style generally stays consistent. I like the crisp and clean look. 😊
Cool Cakes and Crafts with Amalia Thank you! I like trying different paper styles. The new Honey Bee Stamps papers are very nice. I’ll be buying them again. I recently started using Camtasia for video editing. I really like it.
Heather Upton Thank you! Yes, I think I used a couple “new” sketches this time. The ‘You are Loved’ stamp set is made by Honey Bee Stamps. It’s a great set! Very uplifting. 😊
chica chatz Thank you! Are you asking about the ATG refills? I purchase them by the case from Tape Jungle online. I wait for a sale, usually around Black Friday.
Rosemarie Porter Thank you! 😊 I generally just use my tape runner. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes the paper doesn’t stick very well to the specialty cardstock with just the tape. Using the liquid glue really makes a difference to ensure the card won’t fall apart.
ANDREA JACOBSEN Actually, most of the specialty paper I used in this video is by Tonic Studios. I included links in the description box to where I purchased it. I love the large variety of specialty papers. 💖
Denise Smith Hello. It’s not a rude question at all. However, I don’t really sell my cards. I donate most of them to local charities and to the residents at retirement homes.

Denise Smith Hello. It’s not a rude question at all. However, I don’t really sell my cards. I donate most of them to local charities and to the residents at retirement homes.

This is way more interesting than your kit videos. Everyone has 6x6 paper pads, the kits...not so much.
Marilyn Otte Using 6x6 paper pads has always been my favorite way to make cards. But I also really enjoy the monthly card kits. I think it’s a nice balance. 😊
