- Day one of college move out dumpster diving !!! The BIG DUMPSTERS are officially on campus and stationed in front of every dorm.
It was quite an emotional rollercoaster of a day ! We are really glad we realized the signs on the campus dumpster were likely from a previous business and not the college. We were feeling all the feels about it there for a second! We ended with a good haul even though it was just the first day of the big dumpsters - we've been going out every day this week and the dumpsters are starting to FILL up. So stay tuned for lots more and thank you for watching!

OMG about the dog!!!! my husband and I were collecting cans dumpster diving 🤿!!! Two weeks ago and he found a puppy in a black garage bag!!!!!!!!!! I WAS ALIVE!!!! I got so emotional and excited at the same time. I was like WHAT DO WE DO OMG WHO DO WE TELL!!!!! WE ended up keeping him.
That must have been shocking! So great guy were able to keep him!!! 🥰
So sad. How can a human be so cruel to little furry babies 🤨😡🤬

I agree that the dumpster with the Bucees logo was last used at Bucees. The university wouldn't use Bucees logo.

It’s so refreshing to see a couple of young people who are so eco -conscious. Aside from the big reason to dumpster dive and keeping useable items from landfills you both are so automatically doing the good things like putting garbage into the dumpsters that’s on the ground, filling different blessing boxes, and so much more. Doing good for Mother Earth comes as naturally to you guys as breathing - not like the people who just litter, or don’t bother to recycle. Thanks for being a ray of light and hope for our world♥️🥰
Except people recycling is only going to do so much. You can have as many beach clean ups as you like but if you have companies churning out mountains more stuff all the time, it's going to be a losing proposition.
As a University employee, I can guarantee you that we would not use the Buckees logo. Those are old signs.

I came here to say this too. Wonder if Bucees used it for like a remodel or something and the dumpster company just didn't take off the signs?!

My thoughts too, garbage company just didn’t remove them before delivering to the college, I’m sure the university didnt put them on with a bucees logo, and wouldnt care if those signs just fell off on their own!
I think this is the case as well. The dumpster company doesn't care what is on it when they deliver it. DIVE THOSE DUMPSTERS!!!!!! Love ya'll.
I agree I think used by Buckees before and signs not removed. But I would go at night when Noone around to get caught. If you get caught the most you get is a trespassing fee. Also, it's not as easy but take your car sometimes. This way you truck is not all that's seen.
Poor puppy, as you said Kelly, there are so many better ways to thank your loyal pet for love 💕
What a roller coaster of emotions.. one minute I was laughing at you Kelly getting all brave and pinching that bucky sign and the next my heart went out to you Alex.. I am so so sorry you had to see that. I hope you are doing ok and I send out the heart vibes for the poor little doggie. It was so nice to see you Alex giving sweet Bones cuddles and love and you Kelly with tears in your eyes. That’s what I love about you both, you are real and so incredibly kind hearted and awesome! I'm always worried about finding a dead animal I'd cry too he definitely deserved better than that! You both have such beautiful souls. It shows in every video. I'm always smiling or laughing with y'all thanks for always taking us along.

What about the individual residential trash and recycle bins each house has, if it's illegal or not to go thru them? I can't find any info online about that. I find great stuff in those bins all the time!

Be nice if you park close to the dumpsters, so u can quickly throw them in the back of the truck!! Instead of walking to the truck to put stuff in the back!!😊

Ugh. I felt depleted from seeing that no diving sign too. It’s depressing because it’s not like they are finding a solution for reducing waste and they are blocking the opportunity for less things to go to the landfill. Easier to ask forgiveness than ask for permission.
I have the exact Red Copper Pan....I use it for everything! Keep it for yourselves you won't be disappointed!!

Rolloffs are rented dumpsters, that one was rented at some point by Buc-ees and they put their signs on it, and when it came back to the stockyard, those signs weren’t taken off before it was rented to the college. personally, I would just pull the signs off and throw them in the dumpster… They weren’t put there by the college and I wouldn’t give the college ideas

I cannot believe you left the gym equipment!! The rope is an easy replace or fix, the gyms do this very often. Those are very expensive and you could sell it on marketplace “as is”. Hope some else pick it up 😢
When we went back the next day someone had grabbed it. We don’t like to take things that we don’t have the space for or are unsure of how to fix - so we’re happy someone else got it!
It was probably located at buccee's, and they never removed the sign.

It's too bad that Alex found the deceased dog in the dumpster. I think that's an illegal thing to do. If you ever find a situation like that again, just call the local animal control people to come to that location and pick up the deceased animal. That is part of their job.

I was thinking they should have called animal control, you don’t know how the dog died, someone should be held accountable especially if it was abused.
We had a crazy lady in our complex throw her deceased dog on the dumpster. The police closed off the area and someone must have alerted the police because she was arrested. Some people should never own an animal!

Have to dive at night by street light, or take the Bucks sign off, not their dumpster! I'm so ready for move outs!!!! You can buy a new cable for the gym I bet. Kelly and Alex are # 1 dumpster divers to us.

That’s very disturbing that someone would put an animal in a suitcase then throw them in a dumpster! Wow tells you all you need to know about someone like that. Kelli I could tell it bothered you and Alex really bad, I’m glad you didn’t open up the suitcase, that kinda of stuff stays with me for a while and I’m sure it does you too.

Maybe the private dumpster sign was put on by a previous customer/renter of the dumpster and they forgot to remove it when it was picked up and the trash company didn't notice it.
That large open top was at Buckeye's, and they placed their sign on it and not the college. Go get the goods!

All the exercise machine would need is a replacement weight cable...probably sold online by the manufacturer. The reason the weight was so low when you pulled at it, is because the weights in the back weren't engaged. Someone could have a very cheap machine for home in this. LOL

Good video, as usual. So sorry about the doggy Alex had to see,, glad you didnt see it though. I have a question.. ever thought about checking to see if you could make a deal with the college before the students chunk thier stuff, to Go thru it first Just a thought.
They should be grateful if people wanted to dumpster dive, this way there will be more room for the students to dump their stuff. Dump in/dump out rotation.
