Hi Jada!
Can see you clearly and can hear Mr. Stitches loud & clear! 🤣🤣🤣
Watching hours later but this set up makes me feel like im sitting across from you and we are just chatting while crocheting!💜
Yes, same here.
100% agree😊
Wonderful!! 💗
Love this set up and your videos it’s just wonderful I always look forward to watching your videos to learn new patterns
I have arthritis in my hands what I do is I take aspercreme with lidocaine and rub it in like a lotion. After it sets and I wash my hands. There's also a CBD cream or salve you can get that does not have any THC that also works wonders
Hi Jayda, I will be needing that step by step tutorial. Thank you, you are a sweet lady, I enjoy your videos very much. Kes 🦋
Ya we can see you and hear Mr stitches very good
WHST A LOVRLY COOL AND BEAUTIFUL BAG.... 😍 WHAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS THAT YOU MADE THE GRANNY DHAPES YEARSSSSS AGO...
Can't wait to see it done.... HAVE A AWESOME WEEKEND TO BOTH OF YOU
I know the pain of carpal tunnel,I had it so bad in both wrist for years I got shots in my hands on & off for 2 yrs,I do dialysis 3 days a week & my hands would cramp so bad & the pain from the carpal tunnel & the cramping would make me cry,I would sit on my hands run them under hot water trying to get rid of the pain, finally I had to have surgery bc I just couldn't take the pain anymore,I had my right one in Sept 2020 bc my right arm was broken as a child & I can't turn it over then had my left one done early Nov bc I wanted to be all healed by Thanksgiving, I did had some cramping in both after surgery but nothing like I was having before, now I hardly ever have any pain or cramping in either hand, that surgery was the best thing I could have had done,it helped I had a excellent doctor too whose wife was also my gynecologist so I really trusted him..pain free now at least in my hands..😊😊
Hi Bobbie, that is wonderful news!
Love your new Granny Hexagon Purse, Jayda! It was fun watching as you figured out how best to put it together. Looking forward to your purse tutorial showing the lining process, too. Mr. InStitches, thank you for the warm fire place to keep us all warm. Happy stitching! ❤ 🧶
💗
This live chat is so clear! I completely love it! It's like we are crocheting in the same room!
Great! Our tech experiments are getting us somewhere 😊
Hallo thanks for this tutorial s, I'm a lefty and I learned so much from you, this is how I started crocheting xxx
Learned here also…during pandemic! So good❤️🌺❤️
Few days late watching this but love how clear and personal it is. Can hear Mr. really good.
I could hear both of you right before you guys quit talking, but then, couldnt understand Mr. Institches afterwards. Thanks for video. You guys are a blast.
I can see and hear you just fine. I love that the big picture is back. And no pixeling when you move. YAY! The Mr. sounds far far away. I love how your new craft room looks 😍 And I can't wait for February's tutorial for the blanket. Hurry up Friday!! 🤣❤🤗🌷
February came up fast and I'm pretty pleased about that LOL, the sooner we can get through the winter the better!
Yes, I am hearing you both clearly.
I love this and sums up why i really enjoy tuning in to your channel. Its like a real life Mrs.Doubtfire❤😘😊💜
* giggle * but without the "drive by fruitings" 😂🍎
I stuck with ya. I enjoyed it and the bag turned out beautiful. W think my only problem with it would be lining it. Thanks for sharing!!! Have a good evening!!!❤🤍💖
Hi Traci! We're definitely going to do a video on the lining, I'm still working on it myself 😁
I love this as a cushion.
Love you Mr and Mrs Jayda in stitches 💓💖💝💗💘💟🖤💜💚💛🧡💙❤💞💕❣💌💋
Thank you for watching Jessica! 😊
I hear you, from Philippines....love you Ms Jayda...
💗
Thank you so much, Jayda and Mr InStiches 😍❣️
Loved the bag you’re making and your advise for the new calendar blanket, Jayda 💚❣️
Love the new view, so clear it's like your here in my house! So sad that our view of you is separating you and your hubby, hahaha 🤣 hoping you'll be together again in the same room! You sure brighten up our lives with you happy, joly energy! I want to make hexagons and make a bag too!
😁 Thank you Carol!
I really love the banner acknowledgements at the bottom as opposed to interrupting Jayda's thought processes while she's creating. She can complete a thought and we can see how she works and creates, but the people who have earned the shout outs still get them. Great Idea!
Thank you for the feedback!
That is so cute!! Thank you for all you do for us❤
I would join the hexies with single crochet. Love the bag idea!
This is hilarious and yes can see you as well
You both are so fun! im watching this much later but it is so nice to "hang out" and crochet with somebody in a relaxed setting (given the lovely fireplace) 😊thank you both for the awesome stream and entertainment!
Thank you for watching Jennifer 😊
Congratulations on your super clear video live stream! It was like sitting and stitching with you. ☕️
Thank you Debra 😊

Best video y'all have made! SO fun!
Thanks so much!!
Hi Jayda and Mister!! Watched later in day. Been watching and working on a blanket. Feel like we are crocheting together 😊Love the purse! Thank you for sharing! I too prefer the 5.00 to 5.5 mm hook. Definitely my go to even with my amigurumi projects.
Really loving your skirt
Your doing great job I got same needles I order mine from states I only use these ones now so much easier thanks jayda
Thank you Eleanor 😊
I like how your bag goes so well with your outfit!
😊
The pic looks fantastic and the sound too except when Mr. Institches is in the other room...lol Love the new tech. The new craft room looks like it is working for you except for Mr. Institches being in the other room. The bag looks great!
😁
Yes I'm in Houston Texas
Hi from France! A long time ago, my human grannies taught me how to do crocheted grannies. I still love to watch people doing, I'd like to do again. Bought a lot of yarn, crochets... Have to decide what to do. Some items are waiting to be achieved... for several years.
Hello from Canada!
You are so much fun to watch! Your creative process looks so much like mine that I find myself talking to the screen! Lol🧶❤️🧶💜🧶💙
😁
lt look nice the color you do good job
I can foods and that fabric would make good quilted canning mats. Right now I just put my hot jars on a folded kitchen towel on my kitchen counter to cool.
It would! It's all fruits (really cute😊).
Yay! You could do a live stream everyday and we'd be happy w that! 😂😃😘
😁💗
LOVE IT!!
Love ya Jada.
💗
Your new room is so cozy and pretty
💗
LOL....when i first heard Mr. Institches it sounded like maybe he was in the bathroom. LOL
Love the bag
I’m watching it 5 hours ago at 7:30 am on Saturday morning
I love the bag! You could line the strap too, then it won’t stretch. Crista from the Secret Yarnery made a granny square bag and lined the bag and strap. I hope you do a tutorial for your bag …it’s so cute. 💜🙏🏻
Hi Mr and Mrs Jayda in stitches
I watched this yesterday and fell in love with it and started making my hexagons!!! I’m going to try a different method for the lining and line each hexagon following your UA-cam for lining a scarf before I piece them together…🤷🏻♀️ Just an idea and that may or may not work…I will let you know what happens!!! 😊
Great! Keep us posted 😁
You 2 crack me up 😂watching you’s on replay. Hope Mr.Stitches is ok. I like the hexagon purse, but, it’s clear as mud to me. Waiting for “full” tutorial. Thank you kindly Jayda. P:S: I love your skirt .
😁
Finally!!! have been waiting for this for ages!!! xx
Oh Jayda. Live stream and I missed it. But I’ll watch it tonight pacific standard time. I was out doing yard work when you were live….
Your audio is great , Mr institches sounds like in barrel down the hall😊….from what I heard so far in the sound check
* giggle * I'd love to put him in one of those 🤣
Been wanting to make a hexagon blanket, I like making things I haven't made before and I haven't made anything with hexagons yet
Beautiful purse Jayda!
Single Crochet. Thank you for the tutorial idea.
Hi I Will Always Love You hi it's me Tina I love every last one of you have a good night
If you put on the CC, you can "read" the Mr. M
I see and hear both of you
Yes I can.
Single crochet them together 😊
Love the clear photo. Can Mr. In Stitches sit in the doorway? I miss him! ;)
💗💗💗 We're working on some more solutions for the sound 😁
That's going to be a beautiful bag 🛍️ I love to make one I love the 70s bags too Jayda I love to know have you ever made a dog wood flower blanket?I love to know how to make one Thank you God Bless you Guy's VA..🙏💟✝️👑💕🛍️
Thank you for the suggestion Idell 😊
Hats 5 square 5 inch I think they r cute.❤️❤️❤️
My thoughts are: continue single crochet across the top of the back, then over the other side, then finish with a row on the front top. This will give you 2 rows of single crochet on both, and it is continuous. I will be starting my strap on the sides. Go from front to back on one side, decreasing as you go up. Then, it increases as you get closer to the other side. I hope you understand. I cannot wait to make this. Thank you for the idea.
Hi Laura, that sounds great! I'd love to see a photo of yours finished if you want to share, you can post it to us at our Etsy shop in the messenger box here: jaydainstitches.etsy.com
Can see and hear both of you 👍😁
HI Jayda and Mr In Stitches, love this set up. I was at work when the live chat went out, but I have been sat watching while knitting my grand daughter s cardigan. I love love love this bag. What is your opinion on using Cotton yarn for the strap to avoid stretching, when weight is added. I have not fully finished watching until the end yet, you or somebody else might mention this.
I am going to finish watching now ha ha 😊
Hi Angela, cotton is a great choice for the entire project. I would try and keep the fiber the same throughout (in other words use cotton for all the crocheting including the hexagons). And cotton is less likely to stretch for sure! I'm using older acrylic motifs, so I'm sticking to acrylic throughout...I'm betting on the lining helping with strength * fingers crossed *
Absolutely love your skirt. I almost jumped when you stood up and fanned out your skirt.
I said oh no dont burn your skirt……. In the virtual fire mmmmm silly me ha ha
🤣
Love the purse!
Nice fireplace you have there as an accent.
💗😁
Yes can hear
Yes😊
yes
Oh I'm Susan from South Africa
Hello from Canada Susan!
We can see & hear all
Jayda when your pains bad I’ve terrible RA pain,my hospital know I luv my crochet and dressmaking the gave me semi elastic breathable Velcro on gloves and they are fantastic I wish I had a new pair to send you luv teresa I don’t know how to chat back only on this way luv teresa
I can see and hear both of you. Hi y'all are!
Hi ReAnne!
wow beautiful colors ,i am going to try make the Granny Hexagon Blanket the colors i am thinking about is biue and pink and purple what do think
Absolutely!
I just want to say that the little pep talk you gave about not giving up at first cause it is awkward or frustrating..... I have been crocheting for a few years now and I can't even remember when it clicked. I tried to be awkward again when i was teaching a client how to crochet just to let her know that it does get easier and I couldn't remember how. lol. It just feels like I've been doing this forever.
Hi Lori! That's it exactly! One day you just pick up your hook and it all comes easily 😁
🤣🤣🤣 I can see you and hear Mr lol
Line the underside of the strap also.
Did you make the skit, also how big can a person make a hexagon I was wanting only 1 giant one for our queen bed thank you both for your time and teaching us all.
Hi Tammy, yes! I made my skirt 😊 You can make hexagons really large, some of them scale up better than others: our latest Cluster Hexagon scales up very nicely: ua-cam.com/video/7-bmRFjHgDQ/v-deo.html
Hey jayda can you show ripple in the pond blanket
Please show us how to crochet the hexagon square, Thanks Helen
Hi Helen, we have 2 tutorials for that now 😁 They're both linked above 💗
You are so much fun!! "As long as you can hear ME!" M
😁🤣
That blue pan is the size and depth and height of my pizza pan. Crazy but it looks like it. I am mist curious about this purse. Looks good. The way you say "out" makes me wonder if your Canadian. Are you??
I wonder if it's an old pizza pan! It's very deep. Yes! We're Canadian 😊
Yes
Yes I can hear n see u girl no hear hubby
Hey love your skirt
Thank you!💗
Both are great
I can hear her clearly be it's him it's OK I can still hear him
you can make a blanket with it
Jayda I luv your skirt, did you make it it’s beautiful you look great I’m gonna make the hexes roll on the patteren luv teresa
Yes I did 😁 Happy belated Birthday Teresa!
Yes yes
what would if you use 100% cotton yarn . crochet Chain up as long as you need then go down and up to make it wide with a single stitch. Vickie A from ILL
Hi Vickie, cotton is a great choice for the purse overall, but since my motifs are all acrylic, I'm going to stick with it for the strap too...I'm hoping the lining will help make it stronger 😊
Jayda i love this. Please tell me how many hexagons you used for this bag.
Hi Susan, 7 😊
I think their for pillow cases the extra strips for edging luvteresa
I cant find anywhere where you have done a tutorial on how to do the half cluster hexagon, I've made a whole heap of hexagons and wNt to make a blanket but as a beginner I now need to know how to do the half
Hi Maggie, we don't have a tutorial (yet) for a half cluster hexagon, but thank you for mentioning it!
the. knitting machine all you have to do is turn don’t hurt your hand
